The room was fine and shower and it had a kettle which was very good after walking. We had a choice of two rooms.
We were early in the season and on a Sunday so we had to ring to get in which happened after a short time.

We were greeted by a very personable gentleman at the front desk, who immediately switched to English when he saw me struggling with my German skills. Our room was situated in the front of the hotel with a gorgeous view of the castle, and the bathroom was modern and well equipped. We had a peaceful sleep and really enjoyed the breakfast, with a large selection of items.
We were in the area to watch a vintage car rally, which actually passed by the hotel in the afternoon.
We enjoy these old inns with all their history, but due to the stairs, it may be inappropriate for anyone with mobility issues.

A friendly reception. Room itself very quiet, but with an haphazard inventory.
Soap dispensers were empty. The backdoor exit was located next to smelling bathrooms.
