The hotel is in an excellent location. It’s clean, comfortable, and offers a very pleasant stay.
Before booking, I specifically searched for hotels with parking facilities on Booking.com. The hotel’s listing did not mention that parking had to be reserved in advance. However, when I arrived, I was told there was no parking available.
Finding myself in the centre of Bologna with my car, I had no idea what to do. The hotel then offered to arrange parking for an additional €40, and I had no choice but to accept.
Later, I discovered that there were much cheaper parking options just a short walk from the hotel. I found this very disappointing and contrary to what I believe is good customer service. If advance reservation for parking is required, this information should be clearly stated on the Booking.com listing so guests can make an informed decision before booking.
