The layout and room facilities were perfect. We had more than we needed and was surprised with the some of the extras. The lady the checked us in and out was very friendly and easy to approach and I'm sure she would have been more than happy to help us with anything should we have needed it. Location is also superb, just a short stroll to the middle of town.
A little more body wash would have been helpful as there was one tiny little bottle for all 6 of us for 2 nights. The gas oven was extremely difficult to use and didn't really work. The beds were a little harder than i am used too but that's personal preference.

Location was great, walking distance to Whitianga township. The staff were kind enough to have upgraded us to the next category up which was a lovely treat. Showers were hot and the kids loved the playground.
The bunk bed mattresses were quite thin and the kids both said not very comfortable, however overall not a big deal.
