No es lo que esperaba

La cercanía al centro.

La primera noche, me dieron otra habitación a la que reservé, pese a que había reservado con anticipación, e igual me cobraron el mismo precio por la noche. No entregaron completo los artículos de aseo pese a ser 2 personas. El agua de la ducha, se cortó mientras me bañaba, no había suficiente fuerza en el agua. Los baños si bien son limpios, no tienen privacidad en caso se viaje con amigos. Las habitaciones no cuentan con intercomunicador, hay que estar bajando a la recepción si se necesita algo, y en la recepción generalmente no habia ningun personal cuando se requería. El desayuno se sirve en diferentes horarios, no tiene un rango fijo.

Descanso dentro de la ciudad y cerca a todo

Es un hotel muy calido, dentro de la ciudad, el dormitorio da a un patio lleno de plantas lindo. Y tiene una cafeteria en el segundo piso con mesitas perfecto para trabajar. El cafe muy delicioso... y es de cortesia!

El baño necesitaba mantenimiento por lavadero caia agua, la tele muy chiquita y antigua... es como para una estadia muy corta.

FABULOSO

Muy bien ubicado a un paso de la plaza de armas. Esmerada atención del personal atento a todo lo que pedí. Muy rico desayuno y tienen un delicioso café de origen. Restaurante, pizzas, bebidas. Los mozos son muy amables. Todo limpio. Aire acondicionado. Apacible. Buena señal de wifi. Como para ir en familia.

Me gustó todo.

Very helpful staff. Breakfast to go was made because of my early check out. WiFi was good.

Try to take a shower early. If you are the last one the water pressure is a bit low.

Great place if you aren't in your room

The garden area was beautiful and the cafe upstairs was a fun place to hang out, do internet, watch the crowds below. The breakfast served was outstanding and included in price. Wish I'd had my camera with me, but included 2 fried eggs, 2 pieces of cheese, 2 slices of avocado, blended fruit drink, coffee, bread, oh, fried sweet bananas. One of the best I've ever had. They also give you a complimentary beverage upon arriving. For some reason, I thought this hotel was right near the airport, but it was not. It was in the center of town; so noisy; however, fun to walk around the city if you like that. Close to restaurants. Room was clean but just very well worn.

The room. I mean, that's the main reason why you book a place. Needed a paint job. Back wall is that icky green and old paint. Dark, smelly, rough concrete floors; one light had no bulb; wood furniture, what little there was, very well worn; bathroom door best remained closed as high window impossible to close and noisy. When you sit on toilet, your knees are less than 4" from wall; drapes covering windows let light in. Push-button door lock only. Bed was pretty comfortable, but a bit hard for me. Shower was good. I had room #1. Will attach photos. Photo on booking.com has room looking bright but my room was anything but.

We are seniors, with our daughter, and our 7 year-old granddaughter. Highly recommended for families

It is a very pleasant piece of jungle in the middle of the city! Lots of plants all over the place. very nice second floor for breakfast, which was excellent. Awesome staff, so helpful. the room was wide and extremely clean. I would highly recommend it.

Enjoyable and feel at home

The place is relaxed and cool, the staff is wonderful and you can ask anything and we are sure they will do there best to make it possible or help you find a solution. We will surely return of we are in Tarapoto. Thankyou 🤗 I am from Holland and my partner from Peru.

Superb

Awesome place to stay and customer service really good, just a block away from the main plaza. Owner offers 15% off from his gourmet restaurant just in front of hotel. Fully recommended.

A/C wasnt working at our room, but the host agreed to change our room right away.

Very good

Nice placer, nice people, simple but good breakfast.

The place is noisy because of the busy street. They were just renovating the roof, it was very noisy. My room was soaked when it was raining.

Lovely place in the center of town

It's a lovely hotel if you want to be in the center of town - so green and friendly, compared to lots of anonymous/modern/personality-less hotels. Food is truly exceptional - highly recommend for that - both for breakfasts and other meals. Juices and salads in particular were great. If you want more of a rustic design in the middle of town, it's great.

Only issue for me is the noise - 2nd floor rooms are noisier than first and traffic noises can be quite bad. However, that's typical for the area, so if you want to be in the center of town, you won't find a place much better than this in the same area. However if you're sensitive to noise, suggest a first-floor room. Or if very noise-sensitive, would suggest a place further outside of town.

Exceptional

The food from the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. We ate there more than I expected to because it was so good. Fresh food and well done. The lomo saltado and pollo a la plancha were delicious. And I enjoyed the fruit juices and different ice drinks. Along with the food was the atmosphere of the open air restaurant. It was wonderful to sip on my fresh iced fruit juice with the breeze blowing through. Also, the staff were very good. They made us feel welcome and always greeted us. The bathroom, particularly the shower, was phenomenal. The best I've used in Peru. Sounds funny, I know. But when you live in Peru, a good hot shower is a luxury. And I took advantage of that luxury. The location of the hotel is great, so easy to walk out the door and to a close restaurant or hop in a moto. At night, it's very quiet at the hotel to sleep. I've had other experiences of neighborhood being very loud with parties, etc. Wonderful.

It is possible to hear other rooms. So a person would want to mindful. But that's just the nature of building construction in Peru. So it is what it is.

The location, it has a coffee shop and restaurant, the room were big and clean and with air conditioning which is super food for the hot weather.

If you're sensitive to noise, don't stay here.

They make their own really good coffee. They have A/C, which was very nice in the hot, sticky climate.

The hotel is kind of shaped like a U, open to the street, which cups all the sound of the many, many motos cruising by all day and most of the night. The rooms also have zero soundproofing. Lying on the bed, I felt like I was in the middle of a racetrack. Earplugs, a pillow over my head, the A/C fan on, and white noise from my phone still failed to cover the moto sound. It was not a good night's sleep.
