Very nice hotel, spacious rooms, pool, central location, friendly staff.
Everything was great. Tip: book your hotel room without breakfast and then go eat at the neighbors (Fort George).

The room that we were assigned was quite large. There is also a swinging bench on the third floor which is a lovely place to relax and watch the sunrise if you are an early riser. The pool has a lot of seating around it, but the pool itself is tiny. The rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable. The option for an extra cot was appreciated travelling as a family of 4. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is close to the ferry.
At the time of us staying at this hotel (Feb. 2025) there was a lot of construction right in front of the hotel. It was quite noisy. Also, the hotel right next door had a big party when we stayed at the Great House Inn and it was also very noisy. Not the hotel's fault, but definitely affected our stay.
The hotel felt very pricey for what you got. Aside from a complementary banana in the morning, you had to pay for everything, and it was a quite expensive hotel. The breakfasts that they were selling were not at all worth it. The hair dryer in the room seemed very ill, and the bathrooms in general were quite dated. Overall this property feels past its prime, and definitely tailored toward a 60+ demographic.
