The location was perfect to starting our hike for the Alta Via 1. The restaurant food was amazing. The property is beautiful.
The rooms are a bit out dated and small.

This is a gem of a hotel with stunning views all round. The staff were very friendly and the grounds are enhanced by the outdoor pool and games area. The room was very small (we had booked a budget room) but clean and comfortable as was the bathroom . The breakfast buffet was super with plenty of choice.
The evening meal that we had at the hotel was very tasty although the service was very slow which was a shame - it took 2 hours to have a 2 course meal served.

The breakfast was good, coffee was made-to-order, and breakfast staff was friendly and professional.
We booked a standard double room on Booking. The bathroom picture on Booking showed a bathtub but we were given a different room with a tiny walk-in shower with a toilet right next to the shower and facing it; there was so little space and we could not sit on the toilet without our legs pressing against the shower. We asked for a different room and showed the picture of a room with bathtub on Booking, but the staff said that was a deluxe room. They moved us to a different room where the toilet was not right next to the walk-in shower but there was still no bathtub like pictured on Booking.
