A delightful inexpensive hotel close to a charming town centre

Although a self check-in (so no staff in afternoon or evening), I was pleasantly surprised by the quality furnishings, cleanliness and general efficiency. The check-in worked first time, there is a free garage, and it is only 7 minutes walk to the attractive town centre with a range of interesting architecture and restaurants. For the price highly recommended. Address is a little difficult to find as Booking.com only gives the street address - they should give the name as seen from the road.

With windows open, could hear rumble of traffic - but it is not obtrusive.

superb hotel and charming town

bit of confusion when we first arrived but the lady owner quickly arrived and checked us in and was really nice and friendly . room spotless and a short walk from the hotel into the centre of charming esslingen . we were able to keep our motorbike in the hotels garage / the lady had a bike herself ) . all in all a fabulous place to stay and esslingen really nice also

slight confusion whether room was booked or not but this was not the owners fault and was handled very professionally and friendly .

little paradise at a low price

The owners were very nice, i has a problem at 1 AM, called them and they solve quickly in a nice way, in the morning they are smiling and found my credit card that i leaved for a mistake, excellent in all senses

Comfortable basic room with nice breakfast

After a long trip we were happy to see the comfortable bed. The hotel is near the street but no noise. The man who welcomed us at the breakfast was very friendly and the breakfast itself was also delicious. Underground garage to park the car. Price quality good.

No fridge. We prefer no carpet on the floor (allergy related).

Exceptional

Spaceous and cosy rooms in a location 5 munites walk from the old city, but the real story is the owner, who gladly helped us with everything we needed - from information about traveling around Algau, restaurants in the city and even comupter cable we needed. We recommend this place warmly.

Exceptional

Very well appointed though a relatively small hotel. Rooms spacious and real qualilty and taste has gone in to how they are furnished. A pleasure to have stayed here and a lovely breakfast too. Thorougly recomended when visiting the beautiful town of Wangen. Will be back!

The owner recommended restaurants in the town which is only a 5-10 minute walk away

Breakfast was wonderful; Owner is very friendly and speaks excellent English.

The hotel is on a busy road but with the windows and shutters closed there is only a little traffic noise.

Highly modern room. Comfortable beds, friendly staff. Breakfast, extra cost, was delicious. Old town, was in walking distance, not to be missed!

A fine stopover when travelling on the autobahn

Automated check in when arriving late Close to autobahn so perfect for a rest when travelling far Clean room Schampo and such provided Fast internet

Noice from traffic in the morning, use earplugs and no problems. Not all room faces the street. Parking outside narrow

First joice when I´ll return to this area

+ location in the northern part of Wangen, close to motorway 96 (Lake Constance to Munich) + own parking garage + very friendly staff + room with comfortable bed, very tidy + rich breakfast selection

Exceptional

Close to Autobahn, easy to find. Excellent automatic check-in. Calm and clean. Very nice staff. The center of the roen is absolutely lovely. You can walk there in about 10 minutes.
