The spa and location were excellent.
We did not get a tour around or information about the hotel on check in so were not sure where everything was and had to ask about the restaurants, breakfast, the spa, where we could book activities etc every time we wanted to do something.
One of our waiters made a pointed comment at dinner about how fast we were eating which made us quite uncomfortable and we made efforts to slow down so they could keep up. Obviously not the end of the world but definitely not something I would expect at a hotel at this level.
The cleaners knocked every morning before 9am to do housekeeping. This is very early in my experience, and disrupted both of our mornings there.
The spa was lovely but no hooks or anything to put my robe or a box for my jewellery. The massage experience felt quite rushed.
Overall a fabulous hotel in an incredible location but there did feel like a few service issues to be ironed out which was a bit disappointing considering you are paying well over €1000 a night here. We raised these issues in the hotel’s own feedback form and have not received any response.

The spectacular view of Odle mountains. Spacious room, peaceful environment, and fantastic breakfast. Full facilitates that you can literally spend all your time in the hotel. Especially good when it rains as weather in the mountains could be unpredictable.
The hotel locates on the top of the mountain, so driving requires skills... a lot of skill! We experienced rains, fogs, thunders, and even snows... in only 3 days. I will not be able to arrive at the hotel without my husband's driving.
