The hotel was modest but clean. The air conditioning worked, and the windows had mosquito nets. The service was friendly, but except for the owner, the staff’s English was poor or nonexistent. Beautiful views of the river from the terrace.
Breakfast was a pre-made set: the coffee had coffee grounds in it, the juice was a very sweet sugar syrup made from concentrate, but the omelet, vegetables, cheese, watermelon, and local savory pastries were good. I couldn’t finish it all, even though I didn’t even touch the bread, which is a shame, because I hate to waste food. (BTW, I don’t think there was anything to put on the bread other than sliced meat.)
The potential challenge was that the accommodation had to be paid in cash. Since I was only passing through Serbia and staying for this one night, I wasn't eager to exchange local currency. Fortunately, I could pay in euros (I checked this before arriving).
Belgrade's free public transport helped a lot, as the accommodation was outside the city centre and a few kilometers from, e.g., the bus station. A grocery store and some restaurants were relatively close in the nearby shopping center.
Other than what I mentioned above, the curtains didn't block the light coming in (they were sheer), but I used a towel as an additional "curtain". From time to time, there was a noise (a screech) coming from the houseboats. It’s probably unavoidable, but it’s worth bearing in mind if you’re sensitive to noise.

Really friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfasts served on a floating raft overlooking the river, easy access by free bus into Belgrade town centre. Very good air conditioning in room - essential for a good nights sleep!
The river was very low - not the staff’s fault so the appearance was not as nice as it would be when the river is full.

The place is exceptional and original, staff very friendly, and Sasha is an incredible host! If you want to relax by the water, enjoy the family atmosphere and make new lifelong friends, It’s the place to go.
Excellent homemade breakfast everyday, indulging in our specific wishes!
Near by free parking is also available, and the bus station to the center is a short walk through the park, and all public transport is free of charge.
This was our second visit to San Art, and will be back again!

staff is friendly and flexible, breakfast was good but not much variety, location was good
Parking is around 600 m from the property, small and cramped washroom, no accessories in washroom except handwash, pretty ordinary furniture and towels + quilts
