Views from the room and staff that responded to your needs. Mauricio was very helpful and friendly. We could not get a taxi from the bus station as it was christmas and when we called the hotel Mauricio himself came and picked us up.
It is at least a 10-15 min car ride to the town center so having a car would be ideal.

Located out of the city a bit in puerto Borries. It is walkable to town, but it's a 30-40 minute walk along the coast (we did it once) Probably best to stay if you are renting a car or have a tour that picks you up. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is big hotel buffet style. Pretty average fare for Chile. The hotel itself is a bit old and dated, but well maintained. Upper rooms have nice views of the Ocean. Convenient starting place to head towards Torres del Paine where you don't have to go through town.
It is a bit away from restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Wifi is slow during the evening when lots of people are connecting.

Staff were friendly and helpful.
The cost, for what it was makes it reasonable.
Shower had great pressure.
The property is old and unkept. In urgent need of repairs and updating.
This is a 70s build and I would think has had nothing done to it since.
Wifi was terrible if not non existent.
Food was very average.
But… as I said, it was reasonable for the price.
