An absolutely wonderful place to stay in Shrewsbury. Louise was extremely welcoming, our twin room was beautifully set up and breakfast delicious. The fresh baked treats available for guests during the day was a lovely touch.

Anton Guest house is the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in ever. The location is perfect to explore Shrewsbury. We were made to feel very welcome and pampered. Food was truly exceptional

Good location, short walk from city centre. Hot breakfast was well cooked. Home baked cake a really nice extra. Good information from host and in rooms of surrounding area. In room extras were generously replenished.
Glimpsed double rooms which were larger than ours and had wardrobes so main problem was with our twin room and not the property itself.
Our room, 4, was very small with no wardrobe space. Would not be suitable for taller guests due to sloping ceilings. A twin bedded room with one bed uncomfortable and squeaking at any movement. May have been heard by neighbours as we could easily hear their snoring. Poor soundproofing between rooms, and from the trains which were very obvious whenever they passed by. Buffet options at breakfast were limited with toast always the last hot option served even if the only item requested.
