The perfect place for a get away from it all holiday. The hotel is clean and the rooms are styled nicely. In a peaceful location on the opposite side of the port from the castle so the views are amazing. We booked a room with a spa bath on the terrace which was great for relaxing in at the end of the day.
Astypalea is such a beautiful island to enable you to switch off. You will certainly come back with new muscles in your legs as the Chora is built up the hillside.
We only had breakfast once, as we like to get out early, which was a selection of delicious pastries ,cereal, eggs and meats.
Make sure to request pick up from the port, as although it’s only a short walk to the hotel it is hilly.
The housekeeping service was second to none, it was so nice to walk in after a long day to a spotless room.

Our stay was exceptional. What struck us most was the kindness and helpfulness of Dimitra and Mrs. Froso, who immediately treated us like family, our children as well. They were always attentive to the smallest details and ready to help with any eventuality, such as our late departure. The room was very clean, comfortable, modern, and had a wonderful view of the chora and the port. The delicious breakfast included truly delightful homemade foods, such as spanakopita, bugatsa, and cakes. A special experience thanks to special people.

It was in a good location. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was good. All of the staff were efficient, polite and friendly. In overall terms the hotel is excellent.

The breakfast was great- everything home-made and fresh every morning! The people working there are amazing and very helpful and the location could not be better with breathtaking views from the balcony!
Some things in the room could do with an update - for example the air-condition unit in the room did not work and it was too hot when during the time we stayed.
