Private room not really worth it

I stayed in a private room - Solid WiFi - GREAT air conditioning (very powerful) - The room is huge! - Staff was chill - Connected cafe was good for a quick caffeine source - Unlimited free drinking water! - Seemed like a lot of guest events to attend, but I was off doing other stuff with friends so didn't try them

- No hair dryer - No onsite laundry - Shower soap holder falls off the wall very easily - There's no "do not disturb" option to put on your door, so if housekeeping comes when you are away they will shut off your air conditioning - Bathroom mirror was not parallel with the wall so I had to duck down to see my face - The bed just contains a single sheet, no comforter or blanket, which I like the feeling of when sleeping. - Room had a lot of dirty/dust on the floor. My feet literally turned black walking around. - When you check in they put a bright colorful wrist band on you that falls off after an hour and they never check for it anyway. - Private room cost 4x the amount as dorm room bed. Not really worth it.

Loved it here, great location, community and facilities.

Great location to walk to the beautiful beaches for swimming. A nice social hostel but not a loud party hostel so idea for solo travel or work. The pool was very ideal for the sometimes extreme heat!

Coosy, quiet, nice garden with pool

Everything was very clean, comfortable rooms and a very nice pool with sunbeds and seats. The café next to the hostel offers good breakfast. It was very quiet at night and a calm vibe during the day.

You need to take a colectivo (12 pesos) or taxi to get to zicatela beach o la punta. You can walk to puerto angelito o manzanillo ~10 min. To enjoy the beach life and vibe it's nicer to be closer to zicatela.

Very beautiful hotel and extremely nice staff

The hotel is very beautiful, with a nice common place with pool & cafè. They organize many activities every day. The room was quite basic but clean and comfortable.

Great stay, close to best places to eat, nice beaches and great access to public transport!

The pool area, friendly staff and great location are key advantages for this place. Also their internet speed is very good and you can work remotely without any issues. I'd love to send huge thanks to Sasha, one of their staff people who was super helpful and friendly!

Nice place to hang out or to work if you are an online worker

Me as a digital nomad was looking for a nice place with good internet. This place has an ultra fast wifi and a lot of space to work (inside the room, backyard, rooftop...). The pool is also very nice to refresh from the crazy Puerto Escondido heat! Great place to make friends and they offer heaps of activities in the mornings and evenings. Good location: 10 min walk from the beach and from the supermarket.

Outdated facilities. The restaurant on location was terrible. The prices are high for this kind of accommodation. Not a lot of quiet places to work.

Wonderful place to anchor yourself in PE; Perfect for Co-Working, Relaxing and Meeting People

Casa Losideli is a wonderful place - very nicely structured to meet people yet be able to co-work efficiently. The staff plans really nice activities and many people take part. The place is really beautiful with its plants and pool. People could easily work (wifi was perfect), then take a break, then do yoga or play the guitar or meet at the bar. There is a cafe next door and it is easy to get snacks across the street. It is really easy to walk to nice restaurants and very beautiful beaches. It is only about 7 minutes to the ADO station. The staff is very very friendly! oh - and I think that every time I went into the bathroom , it had "just been cleaned"!! they really keep on top of that. The rooms are spacious and comfy!

I loved everything but there were a couple of easy fix things that could maybe be of benefit....first - There is new air conditioning in the rooms! everyone is very happy about that! But as with all new things the temperature has to be experimented with and my room got bit too cold at night (even the guys said so!) - easy to adjust for sure. I think they are just figuring out the best temp #. And then for my specific bed, the power outlet is actually on the other side of the shelf set that is installed by the bed (far enough away that you have to get out of bed to use it and the phone cord can not stretch long enough to be near you) AND it only has one outlet as the fan system stake the spot of the other. There is a very nice light supplied for each bed and if my bed wants to use it then there is no plug left at all (and you have to get out of bed to turn it off when you are fading to sleep!). So easy to fix - one little extension cord will solve this right away - then you could have your light and plug in your phone (and even laptop) and it would be close to you. Thanks for a great stay :-)

staff were great and the bedrooms were large and very clean.

the WiFi didn’t work for most of our stay which was inconvenient for Co working and the renovations were extremely loud all day right beside the pool/bedrooms.

its a nice clean hostel, with a pool, garden and kitchen, close to some nice beaches and restaurants and with the collectivo you can get easily to la punta! Also the staff is very helpful and friendly.

I think there should be more toilets and showers for the dorm people. Its really not enough and they are next to the common area in the garden, so they are not very private. Also there are no light-tight curtains infront of the windows so its very bright during night and in the morning, especially if you have a bed next to the window. Otherwise it was nice to stay there :)

Great stay, nice vibes

The dorms were kept small - just 4 pax each, and the bedding was really comfortable. There was ceiling and wall fans in each room, making them well ventilated. Generally this hostel has more of a chill vibe which means fewer party animals and a better quality sleep in general - I'd go as far as to say that this was the best sleep I've had in a non-capsule hostel. Staff was very friendly and organise many activities

The location was a little removed from the main beach Zicatela but at least it was walking distance to the bus station. Some noise due to renovation works. The ceiling above my bed was leaking abit but hostel staff reacted quickly and shifted my bed to another corner to avoid the drip.
