Poolside Cabaña Studio with stunning ocean view

It's called Poolside Cabaña Studio but somehow the word 'oasis' should be in its title. In the heat of the afternoon this shady spot next to the pool was most appreciated. It is really five minutes to the beach, despite an impressive stairway down. It is also a ten minute walk to the centre where you can find all the shops and stores you might need.

Nothing I can suggest.

C'était parfait ! Un endroit incroyable, propre, confortable , magnifique. 30 marches pour descendre à la plage, un coucher de soleil depuis la piscine. Il y a une épicerie à 5 minutes à pied.

We travelled in April - weather low to mid 30 degrees & 70+% humidity. We were there for a full week. Our overall summary is that this place is overpriced for what it is: •The design concept is interesting – all windows were screened and there were large screens over the entry doors to facilitate breeze from the sea to cool the apartment with the help of one ceiling fan – in the week we were there, at least three nights had no breeze – the air was dead still – so that concept failed and those nights were uncomfortably hot. • bed size not specified in ad - a double, too small for us. • The ad highlights outdoor dining - the room is so small, there is no room to dine, NOR even to have a chair. • We are into slow travel (are seniors) and sometimes we just like to relax at the place we rent. We found that all 3 types of chairs could only be sat in for a short time. So we would go from chair to chair and still ended up with back discomfort requiring a trip to the pharmacy for medication. • There is zero atmosphere inside the unit – it could be anywhere on the planet, no Mexican artwork, simply white walls everywhere. There were only 2 lights in the living area and they didn’t do the job. If i wanted to read in bed – couldn't. • On our arrival an hour early, the cleaning woman finally let us in to drop off luggage and we could sit by the pool. In the entire week we were there, we only saw the gardener. We had to beg him to get us toilet paper when it ran out and clean towels half-way through our visit. The stove top ran out of gas half-way through cooking a meal. Of necessity, we took care of our own garbage and recycling. • Considering the heat – ice cube trays could have been provided – good-sized freezer. • There was no bath mat. One stepped directly from the shower onto a painted concrete floor, so water dripping everywhere, creating a slipping hazard. - dull kitchen knives frustrating
