The property is an eight-minute walk from Kaohsiung Station. Plenty of dining options are nearby—from chain restaurants like McDonald's and KFC to small stalls. The hotel provides breakfast, 24/7 snacks, and laundry machines. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.
The Wifi does not extend to the lobby area, so you would need to connect to your eSIM connection outside your room. The instructions in the laundry room do not match the buttons in the machine, leaving you to figure things out on your own unless a staff nearby intervenes.

biggest plus was the available 24/7 snack bar, excellent location a few meters walk to Kaohsiung Station and Huo Yin Shopping District, even Liuhe Nite Market is just a few blocks away from the hotel. impeccable rooms and courteous hotel staff.
would like to come back but unfortunately, sold out for the next coming months!

I wish I could have booked a longer stay and tried their other branches in other convenient locations since they have a total of 7 Royal Group Hotels scattered around Kaohsiung aside from their other motel branches.

Close to the subway station.
The female receptionist might benefit from being a bit more welcoming and friendly. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was just having a rough day.

We had a breakfast buffet during our 3-night stay. The food were great, and we enjoyed having our breakfast! We also loved the free 24-hour snack bar with drinks and food to enjoy. There's also a common area to lounge at where the snack bar is located. The laundry area is also free to use, and there's a common restroom. Also, if you are working online, the WiFi is very decent, around 200mbps. The staff are also kind!
It's also near Kaohsiung station and different fast food places, so you don't have to worry about food. :) Sightseeing spots are also very easily accessible. We will be back here once we're back in Taiwan!
The WiFi could have been secured and not public.
