The location of this wonderful apartment is in the heart of the historic Center of Monopoli, but far enough away from the tourist zones to provide for a quiet, restful experience. The space has a spacious terrace/kitchen with a nice view of the cathedral campanile. Antonella, is an excellent, attentive host and great communicator. The apartment is very cozy, but not cramped as it's divided into two floors. Lots of exposed original brickwork.. a short walk to excellent trattorias!
One thing that should be mentioned is that the apartment we had was superb for being at the top of the building, but keep in mind, there are steep, narrow stairways that may not be suitable for the elderly or mobility challenged especially with heavy baggage. Also, as it's in a pedestrian zone, parking must be acquired just outside of that area. We found opportunities for free (white stripe) parking spaces at nearby Piazza Vittorio Emanuel II. From there it's a 6-minute walk (450 meters).

Antonella is een heel vriendelijke vrouw die het comfort van haar gasten zeer belangrijk vindt. Het contact was heel aangenaam en we kregen meteen antwoorden op al onze vragen.
De omgeving is prachtig. Het is heel centraal gelegen en op wandelafstand van van verschillende mooie stranden. Je kan vanuit Monopoli leuke daguitstappen maken naar andere stadjes.

Really nice and friendly host.
Amazing location in the heart of city centre in historical building.
Very noisy outside, especially on late evenings and early mornings.
Specific smell.
Apartment is renovated but the quality of furniture and sanitary engineering is quite low.
Breakfast was tasty, but super basic: one cup of coffee and one croissant.
Towels were not change during our stay
