Amazing place!

Very clean, comfortable and beautiful guest house near Ganga river and biggest ghat. Owner Sonu is super nice and hospitable, can answer all questions and help to organize excursions inthe city. Higly recommend! I have visited many hotels in India, so I have an idea of what hotels usually are. Here I was super impressed of cleaness, design and attitude. Thank you, Sonu!

This is a great guest house. Located in a relatively quiet back alley between the river and the main street. The location is great a 1min walk from the ghats and also close to the market areas. The owner/manager is friendly and helpful - can help with a walking tour if booked in advance. It felt very safe. The room was tidy with a quiet fan and AC that worked well. The widi was good. It has a modest roof top area you can use with a view of the river. The best place I've stayed in india so far.

Just be aware that it's location is great - but it is also down a rabbit Warren of narrow lane ways, and a taxi cannot get direct to it, so if you struggle walking or have a lot of luggage plan in advance. The map location on Google maps is accurate to find your way

Very bad experience

Booking.com sent an email stating booking is confirmed without any payment and we can pay once arrived. The stay person received us very rudely and denied us room even after much pleading and we have to search another in the sun with luggage all along. DO NOT recommend this stay

silence and confortable bed

the owner looks like a chitter you reserve one room at one price and give you a different room chipper for the same price we can observe this with other French customers I think Booking.com is responsible of those misconduct I will stop to use your app and will be happy if I can be refunded for this stay at marigold thank you

Wonderful!!!

First of all, I would like to request everyone to think about value for money when you check in this property. You will definitely be convinced with the facilities available for the amount you paid. You can't expect five star amenities when we are paying for a budget accommodation. So, I am giving this review considering the amount paid and the facilities accordingly. To begin with, I would like to commend the property owner Mr. Sonu who is a great host and a well mannered person. He received me well and helped me to have a great stay by providing required services and useful tips for my local visits. Most important thing that I liked about him is his openness in explaining how the room would be before doing the payment itself so that you don't have any surprises after checking in. he even suggested pocket friendly options among the available rooms. The rooms were well maintained and very tidy with all the required features. Location is nearby to the main temple and many of the river ghats are pretty close. Please note that you need to walk a bit to commute in this locality of Varanasi. You won't get any transport till the property. That's a common thing which we need to note for 100s of properties there. Staff were very polite and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay at the same property for my next visit.

The walk to the property which I am aware before booking. However, this is not a complaint. This is how it is and I accepted it.

To be honest I would only recommend it for the location because it is close to everything.

The truth is that I thought it was going to be better because it had good reviews on Booking.com. But the rooms had no windows, it wasn't very clean and it was too hot to just use the fan, because if you used the air conditioning you had to pay extra. It was quite noisy at night as people were banging and in the morning. The towels were very old and scratchy.

Very good

Very welo located, with a nice balcony to watch the sunset. The manager was welcoming, and can help you out with stuff. Room is also comfortable and clean.

The room was right under the roof, which is making AC mandatory if you want to survive the heat. Also separate bathroom.

Nice guest house nearby Ghats but only the hard part is to locate it.

It was nice stay there for one night. Guest house is just nearby Ghats, that's the best part.

Locating the guest house is very hard. Also the stairs are built in such way which is hard for senior citizen if they get the room on second floor.

Great place near ghat...

Great location for those who are looking for stay near ghat ,its around 150mtrs to ghat (river)and walkable distance to temple also...This place very good and safe for solo traveller's.they have small kitchen,we can buy groceries and cook .swiggy was available at the location.. Sonu is wonderful guide ,if he is available on request he will takes us tour and gt us famous food which was more then expected. And also he has addon paid services like boating, walk at ghat etc..I stayed at balcony room,it was decent and clean. Its worth the money for budget traveller's and for long stays also...

Taxi or auto pick up and drop was approx 400 to 500mtrs away. But if we request they will send helper person for carrying bags...

The staff named Sonu was so rude. Firstly when we arrived Banaras, his mobile number was switched off and we had to search for the guest house early in the morning with luggage which was so frustrating. Afterwards also his behaviour was quite inappropriate as if we are staying for free at the location. There is no proper way to reach at this place. Also, you can't see Ghats from this place. Beds are also of very poor quality and makes noise. No sunlight in room. In all, very bad bad experience. Avoid this place.

Rooms very comfortable, the location is perfect! The host is the best host we had in India 🙂. We totally recommended. And they do the boat ride activity which was excellent to !!! 10 points.
