The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The hotel's location was excellent, with easy access to Shin-Sapporo Station, making it convenient to travel around the city. Overall, the accommodation and facilities were good, and I had a comfortable stay for three nights.
The main disappointment was the lack of English communication among the hotel staff. As an international solo traveller who does not speak Japanese, I found it difficult to communicate and ask for assistance. An international hotel should have staff who can communicate in basic English to help overseas guests.
Secondly, the breakfast options were mainly Japanese cuisine, with very limited choices for international travellers. The hotel should offer more continental and other Asian breakfast options to accommodate guests from different countries.
Lastly, I was unexpectedly charged an additional JPY 900 as accommodation tax for my three-night stay, even though my online booking indicated that taxes were included. This additional charge was not clearly communicated during booking. International guests should be informed in advance about any local taxes payable at the hotel, rather than discovering these charges at check-in or check-out. I request the hotel to improve transparency regarding such charges.

Very large lobby and spacious rooms .
The staff were very friendly. The concierge lady spent quite some time to book a round of golf for me

Tall building, excellent view if you have higher floor room and from breakfast. Breakfast exceptional. Next to Shin-Sapporo station.
The spa is nice, but you have to pay extra to use (1300/day). For early morning users is cheaper.

It's located next to Shin Sapporo Station, which is closer to get to New Chitose Airport compared to hotels in Central Sapporo city
The room is very outdated and small. The location is fair, however you will still need to move your luggages outside to get to the station, as compared to other hotels that may have underground access, it is not a great experience when it is snowing. Also, you need to pay a fee for using the spa/onsen even as a hotel guest. The staff did not inform us that.
