This is a lovely little place run by a local family. The gardens are well maintained, pool great to cool down. The smaller rooms are decorated really lovely, very boho. Good aircon, walking distance to center, supermarkets nearby, outdoor bathrooms.
Would be nice if they offered basic breakfast in the rooms like a pastry and fruit. The larger rooms are not as cosy and could do with a bit of decoration. Entering with suitcases can be a bit tricky as you have to go up and down some steps and through small entryway. It is located on a busy road where it is not always possible to use the footpath. But all of these things are very minor as we would definitely come back.

This property is lovely, very cheap, rooms are nice, outdoor bathroom is a nice touch. We were right by the pool as well. It’s no frills, no restaurant, you do for yourself, we loved it.

Room was clean. Outdoor bathroom was cute with a little shelter over the sink/toilet area (which I could also put in "dislikes" because when it rains hard, everything gets wet). Owner was friendly, and grounds were mostly clean. Lots of plants and greenery.
No breakfast provided even though the description said there was breakfast. The owner was hardly around - a couple of times I went to ask him something and just couldn't find him. The location is great if you love the crazy busy loud tourist section of Ubud, but I did not. The pool was very small. Couldn't make the hot water work for my first outdoor shower, and then it was temperamental after that.
