The property is really beautiful and located on top of a hill, offering a lovely view of Kandy city below. Early in the morning you can also enjoy the sunrise and watch the fog covering the mountains, which makes the place feel very peaceful.
The stay is located a little higher up, so you may need to walk up a small path to reach it. However, tuk-tuks are easily available at any time if you prefer not to walk. Personally, I enjoyed hiking up the path to the property as it added to the experience.
The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable, making the stay relaxing.
The staff were very kind and polite. However, they could have been a bit more proactive in helping guests, especially by asking about breakfast arrangements for the next morning. I had to remind them to arrange it. When travellers are busy exploring or arriving late, they might easily miss mentioning this, so it would be helpful if the staff checked with guests in advance.

I stayed at Satyodaya Educational Training Centre for four nights and had a really lovely experience. The view is beautiful and peaceful, the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the room was comfortable with everything I needed for my stay. I was able to explore within walking distance or using pick me app for tuk tuk
It felt calm and supportive, and great place to rest and recharge. I truly appreciated the hospitality and the care from everyone there.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the property is located on a hill. It may be a bit challenging to walk up if you are elderly, injured, or have mobility limitations. However, a tuk-tuk ride to the center of town is very easy and only takes about 4–5 minutes.

The view from the small balcony was nice. It was on a quiet road, although the monastery nearby provided plenty of loud sounds
Room was very small. Ants and cockroaches. No hot water in the shower
