Clean, comfortable room. Common area on each floor where you can sit and relax. Very good breakfast every morning. Close proximity to several good restaurants. Very helpful staff.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is delicious. The whole hotel is decorated in a beautiful, tasteful and fun way using historical items. The rooms have been recently updated and very comfortable. The large "breakfast" room has nice light, cathedral ceilings and a working fireplace with sofas. It's a great place to hang out when you want a break from your room. This is the second time we have stayed here and we'll be back!
While Wifi in the hotel was generally great, the wifi in our room was more spotty. I think it's something to do with this particular room (buildings are built with bricks and concrete here) because this was not an issue the last time we stayed here and we were just outside the breakfast room which had great coverage and speed. Overall I was able to use the internet whenever I needed it so not a big deal.

A beautiful, classy, stylish, hotel within easy walking distance of town centre. Secure for bikes in a courtyard within the hotel, just not in a dedicated locked room or garage.
Fabulous upstairs breakfast and sitting room.
Delicious, all you can eat breakfast.
Would highly recommend!

Beautiful inside and absolutely immaculate quality. Big room, comfortable bed and the bathroom was lovely after the Santa Cruz trek!
Customer service was a little blunt.
