The living room has a 42' HD flat screen TV, a comfortable sectional and oversized chairs. The dining area features a large table and chairs which can accommodate up to 10 people. Upstairs has two queen bedrooms and another full bathroom. The garage game room features a ping pong table. A fenced in front courtyard is perfect for kids and pets to safely play. The beach view was just like the photos in the listing. Beach access was very close. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed for thanksgiving. We had an issue with the porch light not working and the owner had someone out to fix it right away.

What a beautiful and well-cared for beach house! I booked the house for a long weekend trip with 4 adults. The communication from Cathy was excellent and the check-in process was super simple. We loved the house - it was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. We would definitely book it again for another beach trip and recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

The property was newer had an amazing view of the ocean. There was plenty of room for all of us. The ping pong table was a highlight. Someone was playing all the time. The upstairs beds were comfortable.
The cleanliness of the place was definitely lacking. The furniture has never been moved and cleaned and under the sofa a chair cushions were full of dirt and objects. The freezer wasn’t cleaned out and the BBQ was took 2 hrs to clean.
Don’t park your car close to the garbage cans.they left a huge scratch on the side of my brand new car.
Over all we enjoyed ourselves and would probably stay again.

Great place for our family vacation
Grandparents, parents, and children (age 1 to 8 years old has a great time. Family stayed at Rockaway for the weekend. Although the weather was a bit rainy and not so good the home was fantastic. Loved that the kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. Would definitely come back.

Our stay at Buena Vista was wonderful!! The property was super-clean, modern, and updated. The kitchen was well-appointed and the oceanview from the main living room was gorgeous! Beach access was just a few houses down the street. The owner, Cathy was a delight to work with when we had a slight schedule request change, in which we greatly appreciated her excellent customer service! Hands down, this was one of the best rentals we've ever stayed at! Our family had a fantastic time!

It was big enough my husband who had to work and my daughter who had to be online with school had their own spaces so we weren't all at the kitchen table. I was able to enjoy walks on the beach and when the weather turned I enjoyed watching the rain and the ocean from inside. The house is very comfortable even off season when you can't get out everyday. The kitchen was well equipped so that we could prepare meals. I found a great grocery store in Manzanita (Fresh Foods), not terribly close, but well stocked and definitely following COVID protocol. Originally I went to Tillamook (Safeway) to stock up, but was very disappointed in the staff also many customers not wearing masks properly or pulling them down to talk. Didn't return. Overall a wonderful stay on the coast.

Loved the view, lots of room, beds were comfortable.
We all loved the rental. It had window locks broken and shades not working...it needs lots of small repairs and stuff stored that is not safe for kids.

Amazing time together
Beautiful, comfortable, easy access to beach, beautiful view from the balcony. Good place to stay and explore the Oregon coast up and down. Lovely kitchen, plenty of linens and beautiful large washer and dryer. We had 6 adults and 5 kids and it never felt crowded.

Spacious house with great view and beach access
Overall, our group of 7 adults and 4 kids was well-accommodated in this house. The furnishings are comfortable and the appliances updated and clean. The split level was nice to help break up the sound of 11 people in one house. We especially appreciated the large dining table and lots of comfy seating in the living room. We rated four stars over five because the shower water pressure was very low, and because of a couple other minor issues, which the property owner responded to and resolved promptly. We would stay here again!

Granddaughter's First Birthday Celebration
The property was perfect for our family's celebration on the coast! We pre-ordered groceries as suggested by the owner. We would highly suggest adding blinds on the west side windows to help reduce the heat from the sun in the afternoon. A cutting board in the kitchen would also assist the guests with meal prep.
Overall a great property! We hope to get back to your home in the near future.

Great vacation beach house!
This home was the perfect fit for our annual girls getaway! Clean, well stocked, beautiful view, close to the beach and easy parking. Nice quiet location and good communication with owners. Already thinking of booking again next year!

Close to Perfect
Buena Vista at Rockaway Beach is the closest to a Perfect Vacation Rental that our family has found yet.
What a delight to find a place that sleeps 13 — just what we needed for 4 couples & 5 grandchildren. Grandma and Grandpa insisted on taking the hide-a-bed over the objections of our 3 children. The only thing that could have improved that situation would have been a more comfortable hide-a-bed. It was a bit hard on the back.
Also we were disappointed at the Beach Access. It was quite a hike to get to the entryway to the beach, and the slate rocks for stairs made for rough navigating for one of us who is a little older and doesn’t get around very easily. The younger ones didn’t have any problems whatsoever, of course!
All and all we had a fabulous 5 days there. The house is situated with everything needed to bed and board a family of 13. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the cookware, utensils, and dinnerware that we needed for preparing, serving and eating our meals. We appreciated the nice, clean bathrooms, fully furnished with plenty of towels, and pleasant bedrooms with comfortable beds, fresh linens, and nautical decor.
So the place was pretty much turnkey ready for our large family to enjoy a refreshing holiday at the beach.
