About this house rental
Situated in Lake Arrowhead, this lovely house for $170 per night is a great option for your next break. Forest views from every room along with a peek of the lake from the large front furnished lounging deck. Surrounded by the natural beauty of mature pine, oak and spruce trees. 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps 8. Floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace in the living room and 46'' HDTV satellite service, free-standing electric fireplace, Temperpedic Mattress, and 32" HDTV in the main bedroom, High-speed DSL with a wireless network throughout the property. Enjoy TV, Netflix, Hulu, or forest view from dual bucket swivel rockers and a large comfortable sectional sofa. Master Bedroom has a CalKing-size mattress and cast-iron electric stove for extra warmth and ambiance on cold nights. The main bathroom has the shower and vanity in separate areas for privacy. The second bedroom has a twin over queen bunk bed. The 3rd bedroom upstairs has 2 full-size beds and also a comfortable queen futon in the loft area. Fully equipped kitchen (from pancakes to turkey) with bar/desk and dining for 8. iPod docking station. BBQ on the outside deck with a gas grill. Washer/dryer and linens included. Approximately 1,700 sq.ft. Indoors and 2 large lounging decks in front and back. Tastefully decorated, Newly renovated, extremely clean & comfy with lots of amenities. New carpets, plank vinyl flooring, paint, lighting, Trex decks, and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen has plenty of cabinets for storage. The desk/bar area near the kitchen provides ample lighting and a spacious workspace as well. Lake Arrowhead is a private lake however, since I have Lake rights you are welcome to use its shoreline trails. There is plenty of hiking nearby as well. I have a kiosk full of brochures and maps. Guests can also use my San Bernardino Nat'l Forest Adventure pass for free, so be sure to pick it up before you hit the trails. Outstanding sunsets, mountain views, and walking trails to appreciate the beautiful mountain scenery. The village shops, restaurants, and markets are a few minutes' drive. Or spend a day with a tour boat on the 'Lake Arrowhead Queen' to learn about the history of the area. Pack up the family and head to the mountains for a much-needed quiet getaway! A ten-minute stroll to the lake or a quick 5-minute drive to the Village. There you will find casual dining, concerts on the lake, shopping, and a park for the kids! a 10-minute drive to Blue Jay movie theatre, and more shopping. Sky park adventure park is now open for dining, outdoor recreational fun, and outdoor concerts in the season. Local grocers are only 5 minutes away for your every need. Come enjoy the tranquility of the mountains, fresh air, beautiful scenery and relax with the laid-back lifestyle. You may even experience some of the wildlife such as raccoons, squirrels, and blue jays in the area. Enjoy the peaceful quiet of the mountains and lake. The most breathtaking locations in the San Bernardino mountains -- and a favorite place for people who prefer the outdoors. If there's snow, there's plenty of sledding in the backyard and front drive. Numerous sleds are provided, some with steering wheels and breaks! Please note: the driveway is steep and in winter storm conditions chains and/or 4WD may be needed if the snow turns to ice. If it snows more than 4" - ALL vehicles must be moved out of the driveway temporarily to allow for it to be plowed. Otherwise, you may need to shovel your way out. I just recently changed the property damage requirement to a $750.00 refundable security deposit instead of VRBO's $59. non-refundable insurance fee. That saves you $59. on a booking. A hold for the refundable deposit is placed on your Credit card but is not charged unless damage occurs. If damage occurs please inform me. So for instance, the next guest doesn't sit on a broken chair or arrive to find a broken blender that I could have had replaced. If you prefer to pay the $59. I can arrange the Protection plan through VRBO. This is our home, so we take great pride and joy in having it well maintained and clean for all of our guests. We want you to have an enjoyable time, just like we do. To us, it's close to the city, but we feel like it is in another world.

MY family and I had a great stay at Bonnie's cabin in Lake Arrowhead. I wanted to find a quiet place for us to spend a weekend and this location was perfect. We had plenty of space and had a great stay.

The house was perfect. The pricing couldn’t be beat! Spacious. Bonnie provided everything we needed. They responded to my questions in a timely manner. They provide all the details needed to get you there, what to do when you arrive and depart. My family loved all the games available to play too. We will be renting again in the future! Check in was really easy and simple. We arrived a little early but Bonnie was so kind to let us check in early. The home was beautiful. Very spacious and clean. All utensils and kitchen ware was very organized and clean. Ready to use. Excellent experience and will definitely come back. The only thing we weren’t able to do was take advantage of the lake access. Will come back for that.

The cabin was just as advertised and Bonnie was available to answer any and all questions. Our extended family enjoyed walking the, less than a mile, lakeside trail to the Village filled with shopping and restaurants. We took the paddle boat tour and learned the history of the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchenwares and there were lots of games in the closet. But, my favorite part was the deck with plenty of seating for the whole family, towering pines and beautiful sunsets.

This house is chock full of charm, warmth and a bit of whimsy. Fantastic location, hidden in the trees, and w/i walking distance of both the lake AND The village. Bonnie labels every cabinet and drawer with it’s contents (very helpful), has TONS of games, puzzles, and toys on hand for little ones (thoughtful), and we noticed she had even left a closet full of snow gear for little ones to borrow (generous). We all very much enjoyed our stay, and Bonnie was very thorough with communication and instructions for entry and clean-up. 👍

We loved the house and how well stocked it is. Many comfortable places to sit and hang out.
We especially appreciated the lake access pass so that we could hike around the lake and swim.
Walking distance to the village was also a big plus.

With 2 bedrooms and a loft there is plenty of space to retreat for quiet time away from the rest of your traveling companions. The property boasts a cabin's warmth and charm lit by large vaulted windows bringing in sunlight and evergreen views. The house is not right on the shore but a Lake pass is provided for guests to access the water in a couple minute trip. Highly recommended.

The cabin was spacious, clean and a breeze to check into/out of. I appreciated the big bay window, the big kitchen and the overall welcome feeling of the cabin. I had to get in touch with Bonnie a few times during our stay and she was always helpful and quick to respond.
Unlike other places, the kitchen is packed with cook- and silverware. No need to worry about whether there will be enough plates, bowls, pots or pans - Bonnie has you covered.
We would have liked it if the fan in the living room worked to push the heat down from the fireplace, but the central heat and fireplace were both wonderful.
We didn't see a lake view from the property (as alluded to in the description), but the neighborhood is beautiful and the lake is close enough not to really matter.
Overall we had a lovely time and would stay here again.

She was also highly responsive via messaging in the app and was gracious enough to let us check in an hour early, due to rainy weather.

Very well maintained, cozy and inviting home. The owner was very communicative and addressed any concerns/questions about the property immediately. It's a good location - close to the village in case you need food/supplies and close to hwy 18. My family enjoyed it greatly. I would definitely book again!

We spent 6 wonderful days at Bonnie's home over New Years and had a relaxing retreat. There were 8 of us (4 adults, 4 kids under the age of 6) and we were quite comfortable within the space. Bonnie responded quickly and thoroughly to all our questions both before and during the stay, and we had a wonderful time! The neighborhood is awesome - quiet, closely located to the Village, with peek-a-boo views of the lake. The home is completely outfitted with anything and everything you may need. We were able to comfortably cook a variety of meals at home. Thank you Bonnie for sharing your haven with us!

The house/cabin was even nicer than advertised! The home was WELL-stocked, AND every cabinet in the kitchen was labeled for the contents. Beautiful views of the trees from both decks, with a 'sliver' of a view of the lake. AND, as it was Christmas for our visit, the owners had beautiful Christmas decorations throughout! We definitely will be coming back!

The location was perfect, you can see the lake from the front deck and it is close to the town. Lots of games, books, and entertainment was available to use. Very nice overall. We would go again the house is beautiful we utilize the patio porch a lot everything in this Lakehouse was provided as far as anything you would need in your own home and have already recommended this Lakehouse to friends although we do live in Arizona what a nice break from the heat thank you again

We were never more than a few minutes away from where we wanted to be (Arrowhead Village, SkyPark, Heap's Arboretum). When we wanted to just hang out, there was so much space to spread out without feeling too far from each other. Coffee on the patio, games around the table, movies in the living room! For the few items I forgot to pack, the well organized and labeled cabin practically led me to them. Our expectations were exceeded and memories made!

The host is very responsive and helpful. The home has a very comfortable king size bed in the master bedroom. The house has all the amenities you need. What we enjoyed most of all is how you can just walk to the village from the house!

2nd time renting and even better!
We stayed at this place 2 years ago right before the COVID pandemic and glad we got a vacation in before. When we were looking at doing another one I saw this opened for the same weekend and kept my fingers crossed for my snow like last time. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the rental had many upgrades and even better than last time. They have a much cheaper cleaning fee and felt like it was the perfect place for a family. Thanks Bonnie!

Perfect Lake Arrowhead Cabin
This place is perfect, easy to find, ample parking, and extremely spacious with plenty of places to sleep and 2 bathrooms with showers. But the best thing is how supplied they are with everything you can need. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked as is the fire wood. An amazing experience and can’t wait to go back!
