We expect at a minimum, full refund of the cleaning fee and you should post more accurate pictures and show the actual v

good location, very quiet, very spacious

cold only had a portable heater we requested for heat, not enough wood for fireplace, very dark— needed lights on at all times to see, dirty, we had to wash all dishes and pans before using, had to sweep all the floors, cobwebs in rooms and dressers, sewer gas smell in one of the bedrooms, no towels in one of bedrooms, not enough kitchen towels, shower leaked water onto downstairs dining table, no instructions as to running appliances or taking out garbage, yard under construction, pool unfinished piles of dirt everywhere, everything was dusty and gritty, pictures on website gave a much enhanced view of the property that was misleading.

Disappointing in tems of the property but a great overall location to get to towns in Provence.

Being close to Arles. Our bedroom and shower were good. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked.

The actual location is disappointing in that it is within an industrial estate and situated next door to several other gites. We had not found any mention of this when booking and were unaware of the point until a very recent review. The pool is described as "private pool" on booking.com. We thought this would mean it was private to our gite. It was not. The pool was some 150 yards from the property requiring a walk up a lane and past other properties. It was shared by several other gites. The pool furniture was tired and often broken. The outside terrace space was dark as it was covered by the upstairs terraces and also there was a lot of foliage which meant the mosquitos were always around. Hence we did not use the outside space. One of the bedrooms did not have air conditioning and one of the two that did had a drain smell emanating from the shower. We had not received detailed local directions by the time we left the airport so had trouble finding the property. We had to phone several times to advise we were there and for someone to meet us. We saw very little of the hosts during the week.

nicely renovated old Provence house - lively art work. hostess organized a wonderful 3 piece gipsy guitar session

comfy beds, well appointed, great pool, beautiful grounds. location close to arle. each bedroom has en-suite bathrooms - lovely terrace

location was in a mixed use area - residential and light industrial. though when at the property you don’t see any of it - just the drive in.

We were out and about every day so the easy access to Arles and its surroundings worked well for us.

Proximity to Arles, 5 minutes into the centre of town by car. Relatively peaceful and quiet.

We didn’t realise we were going to be in the middle of a commercial zone, the satellite images suggested it was much more rural. They don’t show the adjacent commercial tractor dealership, the commercial laundry, etc. The pool isn’t in the garden but in the garden of the owners house which is adjacent. It wasn’t clear from the photos and promotional material that the property was half of a converted farmhouse. The other half was split into two smaller appartments.

Best value for money

We loved the area including pool and garden. We travelled with dog and children and it was absolutelly safe and convinient for both. Hosts are amazing. They have arranged for us an apperitivo with live gypsy music! We are also very happy to meet new people and new friends. Highly recommnend!
