A 2 bedroom, one bath cottage in the woods that has been recently renovated and sleeps 5 people. Adherence to occupancy policies and limits is strictly enforced. These policies are in place for your safety as well as the protection of the vacation home and the vacation rental industry. A new bathroom, cozy gas fireplace, washer, dryer, and a 5 person spa awaits your arrival. A knotty pine interior with rustic butcher block counter tops and an enclosed 3 seasons porch to relax the afternoons away that brings you back to days of old. Come and enjoy our secluded country cottage and leave refreshed. Dogs are welcome at a cost of $25.00 per dog - 2 dog maximum - 2 Night Minimum is required on all stays. Perfect couples trip not too far from home. We really enjoyed the hot tub, and our dog loved running around the spacious backyard. We were even lucky enough to experience some snow! Would definitely come back.

This is the perfect cabin for a getaway from home. Not too far from the highway , but secluded enough to make you feel like you're in your own little world. The hostess was very kind and welcome when we arrived, and responsive when we checked out, but otherwise, it was just us. The cabin had everything we needed for a few days of relaxation. It was perfect.

We had a wonderful time at Lidie’s place! The cottage was very clean and well-appointed. The location was great, it was in a quiet and secluded neighborhood but still close to good hiking and restaurants/stores. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard and we all enjoyed sitting by the fire pit. The Kerricks made the process easy and were very responsive. Would recommend!

We stopped at Lidie’s Place on our way back from West Virginia. It was convenient off I-80, and was a great place to spend 3 nights. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog, it was too cold for us to enjoy it. We found a couple of Rail Trails in the area to ride our bikes. We were comfortable and the house had everything we needed for our stay.

We and our pups had an amazing weekend getaway at Lidie's Place! What an adorable cottage, and surprisingly spacious. Everything was immaculate and well-taken-care-of. We loved the backyard almost as much as our two pups! It was beautifully landscaped and we even had some starter wood for the firepit since a tree had come down recently! Woo-hoo! The hot tub was super-relaxing and I wish I could live in there! The kitchen is lovely, rustic and well-stocked. The beds were the most comfortable beds we've stayed in at a VRBO. Overall, we loved, loved, loved our visit! We will definitely be returning to Lidie's Place, hopefully for longer next time!

Very nice secluded cottage with spacious backyard and hot tub. Off the beaten path but close enough to all the local attractions. Our pup loved chasing the chipmunks all around the fenced in backyard. Hospitable hosts, would definitely consider staying again when we are visiting the area.

My family and I enjoyed all that Blakeslee and the surrounding areas had to offer. The property was conveniently located and private; it definitely reminded me of my grandmother's country home in PA. The backyard was big enough for our 80-pound dog to enjoy the sunshine and for our young boys to play before our daily adventures. We did a lot of cooking at the property. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you need. The linens were a huge convenience, as we enjoyed the hot tub nightly. We thank you for your hospitality.

We booked this cottage as it was close to our family and we were able to bring our dog with us . The cottage is really nice and just as described. Was clean and owners made us feel very welcome and were very accommodating. We revived a welcome bag that was thoughtful for us and the dog! The fenced yard and hot tub were incredibly appreciated . We definitely plan to come back on our next family visit !

My husband, dog, and I all very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was very clean, cozy, and well stocked. The fenced in back yard was a plus for us and our dog. We loved turning on the fireplace each night and the hot tub works wonders on sore muscles from hiking. There are many activities to complete close to the cottage and within an hour or two drive for exploring. Safe and quiet neighborhood, very private feeling. Had a great stay and would love to stay there again in the future. Very highly recommend.

Cute and clean cottage. Easy check in and good communication with owners. We had such a nice time. We enjoyed antiquing, good food and the hot tub was relaxing. We enjoyed Chat-N-Chew breakfast, Murph's Hideaway and Nick's Lake House for dinners. Highly recommend.

We wanted to spend a week in the Poconos and are so happy this quaint cottage in Blakeslee. Was very quiet and removed from everything yet many options within a 20-30 minute drive. Very close proximity to Jim Thorpe, antique shops and even 2 casinos. This is the perfect place for vacationing with your pet. Our dog, Pearl, loved the fenced back yard and walks on a very quiet road where we often spotted deer. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Our hosts were very gracious and accomodating. We hope to return again one day.
