wonderful attentive staff who were very pleasant throughout our stay. Everyone from reception, to bar staff, to restaurant staff, to cleaners, to lifeguards were always very thoughtful and helpful.
situated on a lovely small beach with crystal clear water. A small drive into Villasimius which was a great town with restaurant options. Plenty of stores for some shopping too.

the bedroom was sadly a big disappointment given the pricing. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Despite being a large room there was only a small desk chair in the room with it looking very sparse as a result - there was plenty of space for a couch or some armchairs around a coffee table that would have made it much more welcoming. The walls were bare without any art which would have also softened the space. The lighting was terrible. Only spotlights and bright overhead lighting, no soft lighting whatsoever. In contrast the bathroom was very nice - recently renovated large bathroom with a good shower (slightly cramped though).
We were staying in room 107 (sea view) and possibly got a bit unlucky with our room choice. We had a shower prior to leaving in room 115 (arranged by the lovely reception staff as the hotel was full and we couldn't get a late check out). Despite being a cheaper room (no sea view) this room had a couch (couch bed but still) and was a bit more inviting.
On the facilities front I would expect a hotel at this price point to have some sort of wellness/fitness centre. Nothing too dramatic but the lack of it was somewhat notable. There's plenty of space in the beautiful gardens for a wonderful wellness/fitness pavilion (possibly in place of the outdoor massage space which I never saw used during our 5 day stay)

The quality of the dining was absolutely outstanding. The evening meal offered a range of exotic choices and original interpretations of traditional dishes. Both the sourcing of ingredients and quality of the cooking were exemplary. There was an extensive list of exclusively Sardinian wines. Breakfast, though largely self-service, was also extraordinarily wide-ranging and indulgent. Both meals were served in a lovely setting with indoor and outdoor, but equally light-filled, options. The staff were unfailingly warm, efficient and hospitable. Our clean and well appointed upstairs room had a lovely view of the pool and lawn, with hillside and sea beyond. Swimming in the limpid waters of the small bay beneath the hotel was absolutely delightful, especially early and late in the day when there were fewest visitors. Resting on the loungers on the grass immediately above the beach was also incredibly pleasant and peaceful.
The poolside lunch service could sometimes have been a little smoother. It was hot and the staff seemed rushed off their feet. Live music in the evenings by the poolside bar necessarily carries to the rooms that wrap around it. Noise can also occasionally be heard from rental holiday homes on the adjacent hillside. Every effort is made to deter wasps from the outdoor dining area, but they did take a bit of an interest in the fine food on the tables for all that.

The hotel is located in a beautiful, calm environment. The small (almost private) beach is adjacent to the hotel park and sunbeds and umbrellas are provided by the hotel. The pool area is fantastic, clean, spacious and well maintained. The hotel staff is very helpful, the foods and drinks are of very good quality.

A boutique, pampering hotel, a combination of a beautiful beach and a pleasant pool. Excellent breakfast
Upon arrival, we were given a simpler room than we had booked without informing us. After we complained, they moved us to a decent room.
