This accommodation is a beautiful castle. Mixing modern comfort with a bit of history. Had a beautiful evening stroll through the castle gardens. Rooms were spacious and breakfast was included in the price. Staff were very friendly. Also, accommodation had cares for the environment. Fabulous stay!

Simple amd clean, good healthy breakfast. Beautifully restored castle and groinds. Easy reach of the station for access to Amsterdam Centraal , Heemskerk is a lovely small town with some excellent eating out possibilities.
Who was the i*** that gave permission for those two brutalistic flat buildings to be built. So close ? Sorry I'm an architect.

Amazing ancient castle converted into a modern hostel, with a beautiful garden and fountain. We stayed in the family room with 4 beds. Breakfast was good enough, although no hot plates, but still plenty of choice. The atmosphere was wonderful, staying in a truly historical place.
Bathroom was somewhat cold and the water was on the floor all around and no floor mats, that was a bit inconvenient. Also there was no wardrobe and just small lockers instead like at a fitness club.

The location is good. Big castle and green courtyard for relaxing and feel-good atmosphere
They say it’s renovated but actually there’s a lot of creaking sounds up & below and not a good sound proofing. The only sleep you get is between 12-6am!! Also, they should have given the towels and the body washes just like every other hotels (almost)
