We particularly liked the staff who were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. Naimh on the reception desk is an asset to the hotel.
Being gluten and dairy intolerant I found the breakfast superb with an extremely helpful lady in charge of the breakfast room.
We actually stayed twice within 4 days and the first stay we had one of the lodges which would have been excellent apart from the green lights embedded in the ceiling. Some sort of safety feature? But they made sleeping quite difficult. I’d suggest the hotel reviews these. There must be another way?
Second stay we had a bedroom which was much better for our sleep!

I have stayed here several times, and the food is always very good, the staff are friendly and helpful. This is a good location that is in an equal distance from the townlands of my maternal grandparents.; and I go see their houses, which are still standing, every time I visit Ireland.

The location is incredible! The beach is right there for a morning or evening stroll.
The hot water was scalding hot! And the shower head was not functioning well, the water sprayed all different directions.

Stupidly, I hadn't realised breakfast was included, and it wasn't mentioned by the check in staff. So I didn't have it. There was nothing else particularly to like.
Our room was across the parking lot and up a set of metal stairs. Hauling luggage was a chore.
