The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were pleasant. Parking was good and this was the main reason I chose this hotel as I have a camper van that is too high for the many underground car parks in St Malo. It was quiet and relaxing. They have a lovely dining and seating area and some outdoor seating. Its location is convenient for St Malo and for the ferry terminals being about a 10 - 15 minute drive away. There is a large supermarket, shops and cafes and an aquarium very close.
I had travelled a long way and was tired and aching so I would love to have had a bath rather than a shower. I left too early to have breakfast so it would have been nice to have been able to take something with me e.g a takeaway coffee, croissant etc. For me, the place would have been perfect if they had a restaurant. They do provide snacks and I had one which was okay but would love to have had something a little more substantial without having to drive off.

The breakfast was exceptional and the staff super helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and tidy.
The room was on the ground floor and did not have any windows, just a terrace door. Unfortunately, there is no security/fencing and we did not feel comfortable leaving the door open to let fresh air in. The room did have air-conditioning but it is aimed directly at the bed and made sleeping very uncomfortable.
The bathroom does not allow for much privacy (windowed walls).
There is no restaurant at the hotel, just expensive, microwavable meals in glass jars.
