We have stayed many times and it is convenient on our route. Good for the dog and very friendly staff.

We returned to Wildeshauser Hof after a first visit 4 years ago.
The hotel is rather large and yet has a very cozy, welcoming, personal and homely feeling.
All staff is exceptionally friendly, inviting and helpful.
Our room was very large, with a balcony, double bed, sitting area, 2 bunk beds for families and a very clean bathroom (in fact over all hotels visited through the years probably the cleanest ever). Everything is well maintained and clearly very regularly renewed/ renovated to always stay on top.
Also the restaurant and breakfast (which one could easily call a brunch with so much on offer) is highly recommendable.
It is the ideal location for a stay to visit the beautiful region, but also on the way to or from Scandinavia when coming from Belgium, the Netherlands or Germany. For us, it is our last stop after a busy holiday up North, to relax, and return home in good shape.
A large and safe parking lot and very convenient check-in and -out times and restaurant opening hours.
We'll be back sooner than later for another stay!

Very comfortable and clean with a real German feel. Ideal for a one night stopover.
Shower opening directly into bedroom was a bit odd!
Breakfast was a little lacklustre - not much fresh fruit.
