Breakfast was amazing, great location we did not need the car anymore after we parked in the carpark which was about 2 minutes away from the hotel. Even better was that we could pay for parking, for a reduced fee in the hotel. Would highly recommend the breakfast, great value for money and it is made with a lot of love.
The bathroom was a bit small, the pillows could have been more comfortable.

The hotel facilities such as the bar area, dining areas and especially the inner courtyard where very pleasant and the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh and great care had been taken with lovely plants and details. Breakfast - fantastic. Good firm beds and lovely pillows and bedding. Town centre is a 5 minute stroll and wonderful for shopping, eating and lively events to see during the day and evening. Silent sleep due to the courtyard and excellent sound proofing.
Though fresh and clean the room in the guest house area was cramped and felt a bit claustraphobic due to a narrow layout. Not much room to feel really relaxed and a poky sized bathroom. No airco but a noisy fan was provided. The restaurant and bar were closed on Sunday when we arrived but town was a 5 minute walk away and that is fantastic for everything with a great atmosphere. Parking is not a parking lot on site as the hotel is on a main busy road but there is some street parking and a public garage very near. Our room was described as having a terrace access....yes...from two flights of stairs down from our poky room with high windows. No lift available...not a problem for us but possibly for some with heavy bags etc. Pleasant decor details did not extend to the guesthouse. Bland.. For an overnight stay and close to the city stop-over like we did...fine! Longer than that probably not.
