This is a wonderful property in Tarasp, an idyllic place that shaped my childhood imagination. That said, it is amazing to see that reality actually surpasses those childhood visions (and this must be my fourth or fifth visit to this paradise known as the Engadine—specifically the Lower Engadine). Furthermore, the hotel staff are extremely attentive and lovely, which I really appreciated. As previously mentioned, it is a stunning hotel; you can sense the history and love that permeate the place, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The breakfast was impeccable, as were the room and facilities. I am very keen to return soon, this time with my family.
Everything went as I expected, but I confess I was surprised (very positively) by the warm welcome, which made me feel very welcome.

Wohl ein hoher Preis, aber jeden Rappen wert: Lage, Service, das Essen, die Ausstattung der Zimmer. Die Ruhe. Der freundliche Austausch mit dem Personal und den Chefs. Die luxuriöse, aber nicht elitäre Atmosphäre. Kontakt mit anderen netten und spannenden Gästen. Die Terrasse, das Frühstück. Hier kann man sein und vom Alltag Abstand nehmen. Auch unsere mittelgrosse Hündin hat sich erkennbar wohlgefühlt. Danke Euch, dort in Tarasp
Nichts. Auch mit Whiskeys, Rums und Cognacs wird man fein bedient. Hat man die eigene Zigarre vergessen, wird man eine Weile brauchen, bis aus dem Angebot etwas ausgesucht ist.

We loved this place! The owners were very warm and friendly. The room was quiet, comfortable, clean and we had a spectacular view out of our windows. Breakfast was varied and great. This tiny village is located in a very beautiful and peaceful area and there are paths for walking. If you are looking for something more traditional, this is it! Highly recommend!
