We liked everything about it. We stayed in a family room as we were a family group of 4 adult members. We each had a single bed in two rooms but just the one bathroom and one main entrance door to the suite. We had a balcony at the front of the building which looked over the road and beyond to the sea and the bay. The air conditioning was great. Everything was very clean and modern. The breakfast was superb. The staff were informative and welcoming. The beach over the road was free but just a little further on was the paid for lido (25 euros each for the day) with loungers, umbrellas, changing rooms, beach bar and a small swimming pool. The beach was mainly shingle and not sand. The sea was not very clear. One day we walked to another beach which was better. We travelled by train from Milan and the train station was just a few minutes walk away. The boats for visiting Portofino or Cinque Terre left from just over the road. We paid 25 euros for a day ticket which meant we could hop between San Fruttuoso, Portofino and Santa Margherita. We stayed for 3 nights but will definitely go back.

Exceptionally clean and modern room and bathroom. We had a sea‑view room with a balcony, which was wonderful, but we would happily stay in a room without a view as the promenade and waterfront is only a few steps away.
The hotel is centrally located amongst restaurants and bars. We loved the atmosphere, even over the weekend, we had no issues sleeping. The ferry is just a few steps away, and the train station is only a short walk.
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The air conditioner worked very well. We really enjoyed our stay.
