Breakfast offered a great variety of food, with plenty of seating available. the staff were very attentive and friendly throughout our stay.
The standard room was clean and comfortable. The pool was large, with plenty of sunbeds to choose from around the pool and others beautifully arranged on different levels by well maintained lawns.
The adults-only pool was a great addition away from the more crowded family pool which provided a more peaceful place to relax if you are not accompanied by kids. ;)
The room was too bright at night. Blackout curtains would have made it much easier to get a good night's sleep.

Friendly staff, lovely location very clean
It's a little bit dated that's still very comfortable.
I didn't have a kettle or coffee machine, teabags, or sugar in the room, which would've made it more enjoyable

The hotel is in the most fantastic location. El Rompido is a small coastal town, very pretty, lovely walk to the harbor. There are a couple of small supermarkets close by. The hotel itself has stunning views overlooking the Lighthouse and the opposite peninsular over to the ocean beyond. What made the location extra special to us was the nature reserve next door. There is a boardwalk for those less adventurous, but beyond that miles of tracks to follow. We walked everyday enjoying the fantastic bird life and loved seeing Hoopoes every day.
The facilities were very good, three pools, one indoors, one adults only and a separate hot tub. Games area for pool, etc and areas for volleyball and football.
We had a large room overlooking the lighthouses and water, wonderful views. Room was nice and clean, a bit of rust in the bath. Lovely patio overlooking the views.
The cost of drinks (we were half board) and food at the bar were very reasonable. The price we paid for our stay was really good value.
Received a phone call a few days before our stay to say they were closing earlier and although booked until the 11th we would have to leave by the 10th, leaving a panic to change plans, although they did offer to help us rebook elsewhere. We were given a room upgrade but not told this or offered an apology when we checked in.
The buffet breakfast was ok, fairly wide range, but lacking fresh orange juice. We got the impression they may have been using supplies up before closing as evening buffet staple was pork in many different forms. Fish was also served every night and there was a good range of salad offerings. The food was plentiful but not exciting.
The first few days we were there were quiet and peaceful but on the last weekend there was a conference being held and it became very busy and noisy, not a fault of the hotel, of course, but not really our cup of tea.

The adult pool was good needed to be bigger for the amount of adults without children staying there.
Grounds were lovely breakfast was very good.
The bathroom was very tired needed updating.
