Swisstouch Oriental Resort

After staying at this resort earlier in our trip, we decided to come back and spend our final three days here. We received a very warm welcome, which made it especially nice to be back. A special thank you to Mohamed Atef at reception, who welcomed us as returning guests and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and well looked after. He was genuinely friendly, attentive and professional, and we really appreciated his hospitality. We would also like to thank his colleague who worked at reception in the evening. Unfortunately, we don't remember his name. Whenever we needed help with something in the room, he responded quickly, contacted the maintenance team and made sure everything was taken care of without delay. We really appreciated how efficiently he handled our requests. A special mention also goes to the Tanoura show. I've seen this dance performed at many hotels in Egypt, but this was probably the best performance I've seen so far. Overall, we think this hotel offers excellent value for money: comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds, good-quality food, a lagoon with a wonderful underwater world, and, above all, a team that genuinely does its best to make guests feel comfortable and well looked after. After three stays during the same trip, we can definitely say we would be happy to come back.

There were a few minor maintenance issues in the room, but they were dealt with very quickly. Whenever we contacted reception, someone from the maintenance team arrived shortly afterwards and resolved the problem. So while there were a couple of things that needed attention, they didn't really affect our stay.

This is my third visit this year, and every time it feels like coming back home. The atmosphere is peaceful, relaxing, and truly enjoyable. The beach is beautiful, the food is delicious and varied, and I can clearly see continuous improvements with every visit in the quality of food, desserts, cleanliness, and overall service. I also appreciate the care given to the gardens and green areas, which adds even more beauty and comfort to the experience. What makes this place truly special is the people. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and treats guests like family rather than visitors. A special and sincere thank you to Engineer Mohamed Salem for his outstanding professionalism, dedication, and continuous efforts in improving the place and maintaining such a high standard of service. Special thanks also go to the reception team, especially Mr. Mohamed Atef , Farouk Hossam, for their warm welcome and professionalism. Appreciation to the restaurant team, including Mr. El Khatib, Chef Ibrahim, and Chef Nour , for their excellent food and service. I would also like to thank to all animation team, especially Ahmed, and Raghd, Mostafa, Ahmed and Mr. Hussein for their amazing energy and entertainment that made the stay even more enjoyable. Excellent value for money. The large lagoon is perfect for snorkeling, with plenty of fish and calm water even when the sea is rough. Our room was spacious and featured a beautiful Nubian-style dome ceiling and a large terrace. The food was surprisingly good for this price range, with a good variety of dishes, fresh fruit and delicious pizza baked in a traditional oven. The grounds are green and well maintained. The reception team was very helpful – we arrived late and missed lunch and dinner, but they arranged some food to be delivered to our room, which was greatly appreciated.

Nothing significant. Some areas of the resort are currently not in use, which suggests that the property was once operated at a higher category, but this did not affect our stay. Guests should also be aware that there is no jetty, so reef shoes are recommended for entering the sea.

Room 103 very near the sea and the beach is not crowded with tourists

Save €8. Again what a joke. The water dispenser in dining room appears to be dirty. When on beach, many sales approach you for Spa treatments. Squished Mosquitos plastered all over room 103. No Wifi in room When checking out on last day the room cleaner was waiting for a tip. Stinky water when they watered the flowers In the dining room, the table staff’s English is poor. Ordering 2 soda waters was challenging. No balcony privacy between rooms. During the animation dances a tree blocked my view One of the main Buffet containers lid crashes when opening
