The apartment has been beautifully renovated. It is modern, and comfortable whilst retaining some of the original character. The location is excellent, right in the center of Ypres and close to everything. The apartment has all the facilities needed to be self sufficient for cooking etc. I would highly recommend this and definitely stay again.
It wasn't a problem for us but there are 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, so an elderly person may find access restrictive.

Great location, clean and comfortable property suitable for 2. Kitchenette was very handy for our longer stay. Small enclosed courtyard was handy for drying washing and sitting. Ground floor so we didn’t have to climb steps to higher apartments. Katie and Phillipe met us at the train station which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel
Only a small cupboard for hanging clothes so had to live out of our bags. No ice making facility so had to buy it from nearby night market. No air conditioning so stuffy at times. Microwave wasn’t working.
