Good place to stay overall. Ignoring the price, it was a perfectly fine stay. The rooms are nice, normal hotel room size. Wifi extremely slow but at least consistent (never had any breaks in service).
Room had a nice balcony even if the view from the room isn't spectacular, but nice view of that small section of the city. Breakfast was one of the better breakfasts I've had in a hotel in Turkey since being here. Also with Booking.com, breakfast was free! When reserved on-site, breakfast costs an extra 700 TRY.
Nothing in particular! Just seemed very expensive for being a standard hotel, but perhaps hotels in the city are just relatively expensive compared to other cities. I needed free parking and WiFi, but if you can forgo any of those there are more budget options in the city from what I saw on booking, for my requirements, all hotels seemed around this range in price.
Also the hotel is up a hill and far from the historic downtown, so walking to and from hotel is a bit of a pain, if you're renting a car it's no problem.
