Beautifully maintained gardens with many flowers, shrubs and trees, peaceful and tranquil pool area and spa, gorgeous sympathetically renovated buildings, easy underground system to access spa from the buildings or overground via the gardens.

Staff most helpful and welcoming. Breakfast buffet and a good and plentiful selection of dishes.
We were there over a warm weekend in April, but were told the air conditioning was not switched on until the end of April, so our room was hot and stuffy. If we opened the windows we could not sleep because of the frequent and loud chiming of the nearby church bells! Also a small point but the lighting in the bathroom was rather dim and as a female who wears make up I found it difficult!

The grounds were beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
No gym and no hotel transportation. We did not have a car and getting a taxi/Uber was not easy and very expensive. One ride was 33 Euros and some rides were 60 Euros. It would have been really great if the hotel had a van to help clients. Another option for more casual dining would also be helpful.
