Waitress at the breakfast was very friendly and the service was excellent!

Asked for a quite room but was quite noisy when windows opened.

Our stay at Hotel Ochsen was truly exceptional and made our wedding weekend even more special. From the moment we arrived, the reception team was outstanding. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make sure not only we, but also our parents and friends, who had traveled to Zug for our wedding, felt welcomed and looked after. Language was never a barrier, and they were always responsive and happy to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself is spotless, full of traditional Swiss charm, and has exceptionally comfortable beds. The bathrooms varied slightly depending on the room, but all were spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast deserves a special mention. The quality of the food was excellent, and the service was truly five-star. Every morning was a pleasure. For a few days, Hotel Ochsen genuinely felt like home. Knowing that our families and guests were comfortable allowed us to fully enjoy one of the most important moments of our lives. Housekeepers were careful and sweet, making sure everything was always perfect in each room. The location is perfect for exploring Zug, and some rooms have breathtaking views. The team also provided wonderful recommendations, local guides, and useful apps that made discovering the city even more enjoyable and saved us a lot of time and money.

There is honestly nothing negative to say.

The hotel has been renovated inside 5 years ago, so everything inside is modern but they've kept the style of this traditional hotel. Our room was spacious, airco worked well and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. And of course, the location is just superb!

I found the mattress a little too soft (but this is very individual).

I was given 6th floor loft room, lifts only up to 4th floor, walk up the stairs for the top two floors. Very slanted ceiling, unable to get into bed from either side and bed very very low
