" ATTENTION RENTERS" "Barefoot in Bethany is a pet friendly beach house! Just 4 Blocks to the beach!! Bedrooms remodeled. New mattresses and box springs, and quilts. Freshly Painted. New Flooring. 4 Bedrooms, 3/1/2 Bath. All bedrooms have newer TV's. Come relax in your home away from home. 2 Master Bedrooms. Both Masters have Private Bathrooms. We also provide plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys for the beach. We also have a beach cart to make it easy to transport everything to and from the beach. Fully Stocked Kitchen. OXO-Tea Kettle, Keurig Coffee Maker. For your safety, the home is protected by a Ring Doorbell located outside on the right side of the front door. A Ring stick up camera is located outside the backdoor. on the left-hand side. A Ring stick up camera covering the back deck is located outside above the French doors on the deck. New updates are as follow: New couch and love seat All new brushed Nickel doorknobs and hinges New faucets in the bathroom sinks, new towel holders, toilet paper holders and shower curtain rods. (Brushed nickel) Brand new Hall light going up to bedroom area.

This property was great for a family reunion. Allowed us to stay within a 20 minute walk the beach for those beach lovers and the same distance to shopping for those that were not. Restaurants and mini golf just across the street.
Kitchen was pretty well equipped for cooking and there are extra folding tables and chairs in addition to the dining table for large family meals, if that's your thing.

Was surprised on arrival to find we were supposed to bring linens. Reviewed all info but never found that detail.
Property layout was terrific and proximity to beach and retail was amazing.
As was noted in other ratings, cleaning was not up to expectations. I washed rugs and cleaned walls.
Property had some wear and tear- owner was very responsive (malfunctioning deck umbrella was replaced quickly). Beach equipment was awesome as was grill.
Beds were NOT comfy, but overall, very positive experience.

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely townhouse in Bethany Beach in the neighborhood of Bethany Shores. We love the location, as we walked to the beach into town just about every day! We especially loved being able to bring our small, 10 lb dog (Bichonpoo).

Lea’s townhome was perfect for a long weekend at Bethany Beach with family. The home is a short easy walk to the beach and within walking distance to many local attractions and a CVS. The neighborhood is safe and has ample parking. We had everything we needed (kitchen supplies, beach umbrellas, chairs, beach toys for kids, and a sturdy wagon to carry it all in). Lea was wonderful to communicate with and quickly replied to my messages. Would highly recommend!

We have now stayed with Jack and Lea for 2 years in a row. They have been excellent at replying to any questions we had, and were great hosts overall.

We loved our stay and couldn’t have asked for more. My kids loved having their own rooms and really enjoyed the common areas lime the main floor living room and the deck. We didn’t know what to expect going a little earlier in the spring but it was perfect. It was exactly what we all needed to recharge! And our host made the process of checking in a no brainer and provided very clear communications about everything we needed to know to make our stay super comfortable. Thank you so much!

Good size townhouse that allows dogs. Owner seemed nice and messaged often. House seemed a bit neglected (sticky cabinets, scuffed walls, peeling paint, insects on first floor) and bathrooms not clean. Note, there are 3 exterior cameras, 2 in front and one on the deck. Upstairs bedrooms were nice. First floor master was tight for 2 people, small with a full size bed. Walkable location if you visit with people in sea colony. Short drive to the boardwalk in Bethany.

The townhome was perfect for us. My parents (grandparents) could stay downstairs and have their own quiet spot and my husband and I in one room on top, third floor and 3 kids in other two rooms. Everyone could enjoy their own sleep schedule with the middle floor being the common ground. I left an expensive hair dryer their and Jack made the effort to get it and bring to a friends close to us! All around great experience!

We loved this house. It was very spacious, clean, and comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches, especially the beach chairs. Some of us worked for part of the time while were there, and the wifi was excellent. The location was great, too -- so close to everything. We enjoyed walking to the beach and even walked to the boardwalk (about a mile) a few times. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Our host, Jack, was very helpful with information about the house and the surrounding area. The house is cozy , clean and family friendly (beach toys provided). The beach is an easy walk, and the house provided chairs and umbrellas as well
as carts and wagons to transport everything. The house is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Overall a pleasant stay!

The house is spacious and clean, the kitchen has all you may need. Providing the paper stuff (paper towels, bathroom tissue) would be a nice addition. There are a lot of beach accessories in the house. Location is good, close to the restaurants, stores. It is also close to the beach, like four blocks away, but you have to cross a four lane highway on the way to it.
Jack stayed in touch and was helpful through the whole stay.

Really enjoyed this long weekend. The owner made getting to and from the beach easy and had chairs to lend. The kitchen was stocked with needed dishes/pans/etc. Beds were comfortable. The owner was accessible. We had lots of fun!

Located on the main highway, quick and easy drive to the beach. Plenty of room for the 7 of us, loved the fact that beach chairs were available which saved us from lugging them from home. Check in and out was quick and easy. Timely responses from Jack to all of our questions. Would definitely return.

It was a pleasant surprise to find such a clean, roomy and comfortable place that was also so affordable and accommodating of our pets. The owner was extremely responsive and friendly.

Perfect location- close to beach, restaurants, and activities. Perfect for our family- we had 3 families stay- one with 3 small children, and we all had a blast and were very comfortable. Having all of the beach supplies in the house already was very helpful and convenient for us (chairs, umbrella, beach cart).

This property was within walking distance to the beach. We were able to view the July 4th fireworks from the parking lot of the neighborhood. The house was spacious enough to accommodate six adults and two children comfortably. We enjoyed the outdoor deck.

This is my 2nd time staying at this place (first Sept 2021). The location is amazing. The owner is very accommodating, great with communication and the place is perfect size for ppl and pets. Highly recommended.
