Spectacular location and wonderful, attentive staff! We loved our evening meal on the terrace, watching the sunset over the Atlantic (the setting, the staff, the food and wine were all fabulous) and our luxurious breakfast the following day, again with sea views.
Several things didn’t work in our small ‘budget’ room: one of the main lights didn’t work, the sink was completely blocked and not fixed while we were out for a walk or for supper, the blind of the single Velux window didn’t stay down so we saw the flashing of the lighthouse all night (rather romantic 😊), there was no aircon and there were insufficient sockets: we had to unplug the single bedside lamp and the fan to charge our phones. I’d recommend getting one of the bigger rooms, which may have fewer small issues.

This was the absolute PERFECT place for us to finish our camino. The lighthouse is a heritage building so the rooms are small and without air conditioning, but the location truly cannot be beat. It's one of the coolest geographical locations I've ever stayed in! Being that close to the "end of the world" and having premium seating for sunrise and sunset in the atrium nook was everything. We stayed there for 2 nights and it was perfect. The staff and restaurant are lovely, breakfast in particular was amazing. Highly highly recommended!
A shuttle for hotel guests would be a wonderful addition to this place. The town of Fisterra is 3km away from the lighthouse at the bottom of a hill, and (because we stayed a few days at the lighthouse) we wanted to go there to do laundry (and explore, among other things) and were surprised that our only option was to walk or taxi. Of course, walking is not a problem for anyone who has done the Camino, but it takes time, so if you are staying for multiple days keep that in mind!

Great location - able to watch the sunset and just walk to your hotel in minutes (however the taxi to town is only 5eur so...)
The hotel closes at 11pm and afterwards nobody is there to open the front door for the guests. I was woken up at 11.30pm by a couple ringing the bell and knocking on the doors to get in - I had to go down to open the door for them. If there is nobody there - give guests the keys from the doors (it's not that hard...).
For the price I would have expected the breakfast being on time - at 9am there was no plates and cutlery on the tables - the breakfast got served at 9.20. I had plans to leave at 9.30 so for me it was completely unacceptable that they would be late like this. Everyone was waiting and there was very lil remorse from any of the hotel stuff.
