Glaros Hotel made our stay in Santorini perfect! Thank you!

We had an upgrade for our room at Glaros hotel, which was so nice, very clean, comfortable, and with the sea view! Thanks a lot, Susanna and your husband. The location of this hotel is great as it is just 5 minutes walk to Black Beach where you can go swimming in the sea, or have a walk along the promenade, or along the beach as well as watch the sunset and sunrise. It's also just a short walk to the local bus taking you from Kamari to Fira bus station, where you can take another bus to Oia, or to other towns of Santorini, or to the airport and the ferry port. Breakfast is provided everyday and quite nice. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and some supermarkets near the bus stop. The hotel also has free wifi and has pickup and dropoff service from the port/or airport for a fee, which is quite convenient. The owners of the hotel are very nice and friendly. Thus, it made our 5 night stay in Kamari so enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to you. From our experience, it's much better flying to Santorini though it's a bit pricey travelling by plane! We took the ferry, and it took a long time, up to 7 or 8 hours. We preferred the Blue Star ferry as the economy seats are much more comfortable and we also had a table with a few comfortable chairs and we chose ones with a view. Please note that the business class in the Blue Star ferry are seats like sitting in a plane, side by side, not as spacious as the economy class! On the way back, we took the Sea Jet ferry where economy seats were allocated like in a plane and not as nice as those economy seats in the Blue Star ferry. It's up to you to choose which ferry company, but we noted that the Blue Star ferry is huge like a cruise ship and it was so comfortable compared with Sea Jet ferry.

Nothing. We will definitely stay at Glaros Hotel again if we revisit Santorini in the future.

Just a little bit away from the beach but this is not a real issue because it keeps the hotel away from the crowds

Great location and really helpful staff made for a wonderful stay in Santorini, thanks so much!

The reception staff was extremely welcoming and remembered each guest. I had specific dietary requirements (gluten free) and every morning was provided with gluten free breakfast alternatives (bread and crackers), thank you for your hospitality!

Friendly and helpful staff- thank you Susanna for the warm welcome and helping out with the transfer. The room was big and bright, spotless clean. Varied and delicious breakfast, close to the beach, nice swimming pool. Really a great stay, couldn't recommend it more.

I wish we had stayed longer!

The location is just perfect, the hotel is close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Everything was sparkling clean and the bed was really comfortable. And the best thing about Glaros is wonderful Susanna who was so helpful and sweet. Such a gem!

TOP 10 STAY

We loved our stay in Glaros Hotel. To start the communication was great before we arrived in Santorini and the transfer taxi was arranged for us. The staff is super nice, helpful, always with a smile in their faces. The breakfast at the hotel is very delicious, there are so many options and they constanly bring food to the self service area once they see the plates get empty. The room has what you need, a very confy bed, nice terrace, a fridge, air conditioning... The hotel is so close to the beach, shops, restaurants, bus stop and they also have a parking area outside, so handy if you rent a motorbike. TOP 10 Hotel and hats off for all the staff working there. Special mention to Suzanna and Vasiliki, they gave us so many nice recommendations, we even found some beaches away from the main turistic attractions and we were so happy to share all our adventures with them. I would 100% recommend the stay!

Se had a one week stay and we enjoyed it. The property is close to the beach, maximum 3 minute walk. The breakfast was really good , homely. The hosts were pleasant and really helpful when needed. Would come back for sure and recommend it for others if you are the ones who like nice , quiet family stay.

Nice hotel in Kamari in a good location

The hotel is very well located, close to the beach and bus stop (only 3-5 minutes on foot). Mrs. Susanna was accommodating (helpful). We felt very comfortable in the hotel. The room and the whole area of the hotel were spotless. Very comfortable mattresses in the beds. Important a quiet neighborhood, and you couldn't hear guests from the next room. A very nice pool with a dolphin at the bottom of the pool :-). Good value for money. Due to the pandemic situation, the breakfast in the hotel was well organized.

Nothing. Just a small note to the staff.. In my opinion, it will be nice to stick the end of the legs of furniture items with, for example, felt or other material.

I loved it!

All the staff was so kind, specially Susanna. The room was perfect, everything was so clean and cosy. The breakfast was amazing, with eggs, breads, fruit salad. Also, the bus stop is quite near and there you can go to Fira (15 min ride and you can take other buses to Oia and to the Ferry, for example). There are great restaurantes near the hotel, and the amazing beach of Kamari is just a few steps away! All in all this hotel is a perfect choice. :)

Perfect location

The hotel's location is just perfect, right next to the beach and the bus stop as well. The breakfast was well organized due to the pandemic situation. The room and the whole area of the hotel was spotless. Susanna was very helpfull with any requests.
