Front desk and breakfast staff are super nice, friendly and helpful. We couldn't check-in when we arrived because we were early but they texted us as soon as our room was available, which was way before the official check-in time. Our room was spacious. Bathroom was also a good size. Enough closet space. Small fridge, water boiler and safe in the room. TV had some channels in English ;-). Breakfast area on the rooftop is very nice. Good variety of food.
The property itself is wonderful, it is a historic building. High ceilings, very cool layout and thought through details. It has this atmosphere of a hostoric building with a modern very tasteful touch. This hotel must have been amamzing right after it was renovated. Now it is a little bit dated and would need some touch ups here and there.
Room could be cleaner, especially the bathroom. There was some mold around the sink. The shower head was covered with calcium deposits but the water pressure was still very good. The drain in the bathtub was rusty. Overall the rooms needs some deep cleaning and some TLC. My pillow cover had a hole and the linen was a little bit torn in one corner but it was clean. The bath towels are a good size but need to be replaced. They start thining and are not white anymore but have this typical greyish tone when towels get old. But they were also clean.
