The hotel has an excellent setting for sports: indoor pool, gym, padel courts, tennis courts (including indoor ones), football pitches, and it's also 20 meters from a cycle path, allowing you to cycle/run/walk to Fafe or, in the opposite direction, Guimarães. Perfect for physical activity. I didn't try the spa but I'd love to go back :) The breakfast was quite varied and there was plenty of space.
The devil is in the details, and in this case, the details are the bathrooms and pool changing rooms, which urgently need maintenance. On the second day, the pool was also inside the changing room; you couldn't even use the bathrooms. It's unpleasant and doesn't match the hotel's standard. The food in the restaurant wasn't fantastic either. Perhaps it was just bad luck with the choice of dishes.

Location, location, location. Breath taking views
Not sure about the other rooms but the carpet in my room was stained, it is in bad need of remodeling.

The hotel was very dirty, the room smells cigarette smoke. Lots of issues
- dirty (including one of the rooms smell bad at Cigarette smoke)
- food was poor (breakfast only - I couldn’t even have a proper coffee - Machine was broken) dinner was ok
- the waiters was terrible at the services and not very polite
