We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. There was fresh milk available to use from the fridge in the entrance hall. We had an excellent choice of breakfasts each morning. The servings were plentiful and everything was fresh and delicious.
The house is well-placed to visit the Barnstable area, the surrounding countryside and the cliffs and beaches.
We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

Hosts were very welcoming, breakfast was very delicious, all freshly prepared, plenty of choices , wonderful fresh fruit salad . Beds were very comfortable. Our twin room was exceptionally clean , as was the en-suite bathroom.
Our room was facing the main road. We like our windows open, although not busy at night, early more traffic was noticeable. We then shut the window and as it was double glazed, the noise problem resolved.

The location is perfect, the owners Michael and Penny are wonderful hosts, the room was very comfortable and a good size. The breakfasts are amazing that’s served in a room with a real grape vine! Michael’s local knowledge also helped us have a great day after our trip to Lundy was cancelled. We would definitely go back and highly recommend this place!
The only minor thing was the water pressure in the shower, but it is a minor thing. Everything else was perfect!
