About this house rental
Located in Port Hueneme, this charming house for $350 per night is a great choice for your next break. Located at Silver Strand Beach. We are on the South side of Channel Island Harbor. This beach is best known for its surf and the place where all the actors bought little bungalow type homes in the 1960. Their little slice of heaven, is now ours. Thanks Malibu you can have them. There is a farmers market at the harbor every weekend. There is always something going on at the harbor, tall ships, music, great restaurants, there is something for everyone. Silver Strand Beach: It is almost a private beach so don't worry about finding a nice spot on the beach. There aren't very many beaches that can brag that they are pet friendly, kid friendly and are also a great surf spot. Sit back & relax: Take the chairs to the beach, sit back and watch the whales, surfers, windsurfers, kite-surfers or the ultralights overhead. This is truly a beach that an uncrowded get away. Yes you can walk your dog on the beach, but you are suppose to use a leash and there are time restrictions.

Place was very nice. Manager was great, owner was great. Location was perfect. The Jacuzzi in the backyard was awesome. Comfortable couches, and large TV. Only thing that needs a little work is the AC.

Great location - close to everything we wanted to do, comfy house and patios, fun toys! Channel Islands Harbor Wildlife excursion was great. Had everything we needed and more. Awesome weather.

Chase's place was really nice and the location was great. Chase was very responsive to all our questions. We enjoyed our stay in Oxnard.

The location of this rental property was fantastic. It was really close to the beach. The owner of the property responded promptly if we had questions. Inside the property was nicely decorated and clean. However, there was some construction going on about two houses down from us. It started very early and was quite loud. Other than that enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the hot tub & being so close to the beach. The house was very homie & we were very comfortable there. Chase was easy to contact with any questions or concerns & really personable & easy to talk with. Highly recommend!

We rented the property just as a place to stay while helping our daughter moving into her house she has bought. It was perfect and we would not have minded staying a day longer to actually enjoying everything it has to offer. Got to watch the sunset on the beach, which was very special. Will definitely consider going back for a proper long weekend of rest and fun!

Beautiful and comfortable home. Great hot tub, perfect location to get to all the fun things we did over the weekend including surf lessons and snorkel tour with the Santa Barbara Adventure company. We enjoyed this space sooo much. Fantastic kitchen too!!

This is a great place to stay! it's just down the street from the beach. This section of beach had very few people on it, so we had great privacy and a beautiful view of the channel islands. The house itself is lovely with high end appliances and a 5 person jaccuzzi. The backyard, except for the jacuzzi, could use updating, with old chairs around the table. 2 air conditioners helped on the warm days, and there is great ventilation when the air cools off. I hope to stay here next time we visit this area.

We had a wonderful stay. The semiprivate beach was VERY nice. It was a perfect getaway for our family. Thank you Chase for opening your home for our wonderful stay. The only recommendations would be to replace the TV’s in the living room (color is going out) and master bedroom (speakers are blown).

This is a wonderful property, very clean and comfortable. The proximity to the beach is very convenient and even on a Saturday, there were very few people there. The hot tub was great, we loved spending evenings there after the kids were asleep. The owner was easy to contact and even arranged an early check in for us. Highly recommended this property.

Everything was amazing. A short walk to the beautiful beach. House is beautiful and looks just like the pics. Great Beach House!
We loved the house! The location is perfect, we were able to hear the waves crashing and the seals barking, the sand was I one minute walk away.
Chase was a great host and only a phone call or text away. The home was clean and neat, and plenty of space. The kitchen was fabulous to cook in and everything you need is right there.
We only used the jacuzzi one time but it is a really good one and very large.
Will definitely be staying here again!
