The hotel was so central to the centre of Goreme. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms had so much charm . The rooftop was lovely to sit on watch the sun come up and go down.

Stay here for the rooftop views of the morning hot-air balloons! The rooms are pleasant and have a cave like field that matches the city. The breakfast offering was great, and daily water was appreciated. We also enjoyed having a take-out and some wine on the roof in the evening.
Although it was no issue, the bathroom essentially becomes the shower, so expect the bathroom to be completely wet after showering, including the toilet paper.

Location is perfect - a couple of mins walk from the centre of town, but off the main streets so it’s quieter. The views from my room and from the terrace were amazing.
Disappointed with the lack of places to sit to watch the balloons. All the neighbouring hotels had nice rugs and cushions out and breakfast items available (like the photos of Kookaburra have) but all there was for us was a cold, empty, stone roof. Rooms are VERY basic - no TV, no bedside lamps, no kettle or fridge. Wi-Fi was poor and there was no water on my last morning (although this probably wasn’t the hotel’s fault) so had to travel without having had a shower.
