This is the best value for your money on Isabela! There is drinking water and fruit available (but no snorkeling gear, like I thought) and the free laundry is incredibly generous! The owner helped us arrange tours at the most competitive price ($40 for the volcano hike compared to $65 online) as well as a taxi to the ferry – everything was super easy. We enjoyed the hammocks in the main area as well.
There's no AC, so be sure to request a fan if you need one. It was quite noisy at night with several dogs barking in the neighborhood, but I wore earplugs and it was fine.

Nice property, big room, comfortable bed. Nice host. Had an issue with hot water and the wifi, which was fixed within minutes. Complete shared kitchen. Free drinking water and fruits available.
No AC, which the island is very hot and humid. The fan did help a bit.

Big room, free fruit for your taking and we had a fridge in the room too. You can make food downstairs, although the kitchen is a little small. One improvement would be to provide somewhere to hang/dry wet clothes
Hard to find staff when you need them, and we weren’t told much about the facilities when we checked in. Both of those factors meant we missed out on the free laundry facilities we were relying on.

Owner was nice, good value, free bananas
They offer a free laundry service which is really nice, but all of my clothes got stained and some completely ruined, so a $5 save cost me over $100 for the clothes, I am still really bummed about it...
