Good for one night ( if the weather is nice).

We stayed for one night on our drive down to the Osa Peninsula. We were hoping to be able to surf outside the front, but the conditions weren't very good. The place was good for a night, nice viewing deck over the beach. The room was spacious. ( we had one with 2 bedrooms)

Better curtains, the light from the garden came though.

Resort is secluded and right by the beach. Kitchen in the aparment is well equipped. Beach is absolutly stunning

There is one apartment above this one. So the apartment is super noisy and not isolated. Apartment is also right by the pool so can be noisy. Breakfast was bad.

Good experience, but distant from tourist attractions

Food was good, location is abit isolated which is good for privacy, but difficult to connect with tourist destinations.

Good Getaway Place

The stay was great. The manager and staff were all nice and willing to make our trip pleasant. A/C, hot shower, cooking facilities, fridge. A little off the beaten path. If you have a car, no worries. If you take a bus to Parrita make sure to purchase your ticket for the next leg of you journey before going to the hotel. The food at the hotel is alright, but you will want variety before long. There is not a restaurant within walking distance(for most) and any other facilities are in Parrita (bank, shopping etc). El Tucan soda was a very good eating spot in Parrita.The beach is near and you can hear the waves. I don't think this is a hot spot for beach goers, so if you want a little privacy, this may be your spot!

so far Tranquilidad Resort was the best experience we have had in Costa Rica, we didn’t want to leave and we will defini

almost everything! good a/c and fan, working fridge, perfect location: on one side the ocean, on the other side mangroves, most beautiful sunsets, nice pool, idyllic garden, facilities for pastimes like pool, table tennis or basketball, on site restaurant, lots of birds, iguanas and friendly dogs, helpful and friendly staff e.g. was offered a fresh coconut by the gardener

they could offer a wider variety of drinks, I‘m sure guests would appreciate and spend more money in the restaurant! the room interior seems a little bit outdated, but it was fine!

Good out of the rainy season, not ideal otherwise.

Lots to do if the weather is good. the breakfasts were also nice.

it was very wet the day we arrived and the room wasn’t great if you are stuck indoors; it was small, with no personal outdoor space and quite shabby in parts (broken chairs/lamps, old fashioned kitchen units etc). Some of the cooking equipment was also not washed properly. it’s also not easy to reach without a 4x4

We enjoyed every moment and would recommend the Tranquilidad Resort to others.

We liked how there was lots of activities to engage in on the property, the property restaurant, the cleanliness of the rooms, the beach access, and service.

We did not like how there was not a broom in the house that we stayed in. It was a rough drive to the property, but the seclusion was nice.

Give this one a pass unless you have a H D SUV or Truck.

Near a beautiful, uncrowded and expansive beach. Nicely decorated and decent amenities. The A/C worked well

Rocky, gravel and bumpy road that should at least be leveled with a road grader. The rooms are ok, but the food was subpar. There was NO Phone service and no staff available over night. Several guests were very loud and obnoxious until 12:30+ AM.

I worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years and I honestly couldn't believe the quality, the level of service and the location of Tranquilidad Resort. Located on a very quiet strip of land full of palm trees, this resort is only a 7 bungalows property with a swimming pool, bar, restaurant, BBQ area, pool and ping pong table . 1 min walk from our bungalow was a 10 miles beautiful sandy beach full of palm trees. The staff is incredibly helpful & friendly, thank you Javier & Andrea for your hospitality. We stayed there with a larger group 6 adults and 7 kids and honestly lived in paradise for 10 days.

Tranquilidad, gladly again

The Tranquilidad Resort was perfect! The location, accommodation, cleanliness and breakfast were excellent. The Beach is so wonderful and close to the resort! I would like to specifically mention Fernando and the Team. They were great hosts and great to chat to and get travel recommendations. Tranquilidad, gladly again :) Best regards J+F

A beautiful family resort …. Paridise

This is a gem of a place to stay with the family. The facilities for the family to just relax and have fun were amazing Pool volleyball, basketball ball pitch, snooker, family barbecue area, sun bathing and hammocks to watch sun set. The staff are amazing and helpful. Breakfast is very nice and the lovely gardener give you a coconut to sip on your hammock if you are lucky. Everyone is super friendly we all fell in love with this place after travelling around Costa Ricca for 3 weeks this was a prefect end to our travels. We stayed in the bungalow family of 7 …… 2 children and 5 adults. We had everything we needed and if we needed anything else the staff were alway at hand to help nothing was to much trouble.

perfect please to get away from everything and relax

location was great very secluded perfect to relax and unwind, we were very happy that we stayed there

the restaurant and the food could improve specially because any restaurant is not close by and anybody will prefer to eat there the room we stayed had a Kitchenet but not basic appliances like coffee maker or microwave, also did not at least a small table to seat and eat
