Klasický bavorský penzion, kde se snoubí starší a novější rekonstrukce. Měli jsme velmi pěkně zrekonstruovaný pokoj s balkonem. Místo je dobře dostupné vlakem a ve Frauenau jsou sklářské hutě; městečko rozhodně stojí za to projít. Dobré jídlo. Část personálu mluvila anglicky.
Pokoj byl opravdu malý, ale na jednu noc v pořádku. Večeře od 18 do 20 hodin jsou problémem všech mimosezonních návštěv Šumavy, a to nejen v Česku, ale i v Bavorsku. V penzionu jsme byli druhý týden v září za velmi teplého počasí, takže tento zkrácený režim pro nás byl docela omezující. Bylo teplo, takže bylo optimální otevřít i dveře na balkon, nicméně v sousedství probíhala akce skupiny mladíků, která nás obtěžovala hlasitou hudbou až do pozdních nočních hodin.

Wir waren hier nur auf der Durchreise, für eine Nacht.
Wir können uns aber vorstellen, im Waldkristall, auch einen längeren Aufenthalt zu verbringen.
Wahrscheinlich dann aber in einen größeren Zimmer.
Unser Zimmer war gemütlich eingerichtet. Und war für diese eine Nacht völlig ausreichend,
Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und unser Wunsch, beim Essen draußen zu sitzen, hatten wir schon telefonisch angefragt, wurde erfüllt.
Das Essen im Restaurant ist super lecker.
Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Die Unterkunft war sauber und gepflegt, man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber – stets hilfsbereit und herzlich.
Leider haben wir jedoch nicht das gebuchte Zimmer erhalten, was enttäuschend war. Zudem war die Nachtruhe gestört, da die Zimmertür nur aus einfachem Holz bestand und man sämtliche Geräusche vom Flur deutlich gehört hat – wir wurden dadurch sehr früh geweckt.
